Great replacement, instructions were straightforward and the product works perfectly.

The charcoal filter is a little light for cleaning the air. There should be a least 5 lbs of charcoal, for it to be effective.This filter has maybe a half of a pound.The frame of the purifier is made out of cheap plastic, off gassing god knows what! It say’s it can clean a room up to 815 square feet, hardly! I would say maybe half that square footage, 375-400 square feet, is a better approximation.The there is the customer service department that talks a lot! I mean a lot! But do they actually do anything?Sorry this and no problem this and so on and so forth. They have never, personally, helped me.Maybe because I don’t live in the U.S, I don’t know. They seem to favour the American customers for sure.It took them 10 months to send stock to Amazon Canada!You try and order from there American website and the wait is like a month before they actually ship the product.They have to look after there American customers first! Forget about the Canadian customer. It’s too small of a market.I have moved on from Rabbit air to a more efficient and overall better machine, IQ Air.

Rabbit Air recommends that its filters be changed every 12 months. That means they last twice as long as those of competing brands. This justifies the high cost of the unit, since it and the filters will last longer than cheaper brands.I found the specialized filter for the main unit packaged with my order, which was confusing at first...I thought that a part was missing from the unit. Fortunately since the different specialized filters are color coded, it was easy to see that it was packed with the replacement instead of in the box with the original machine.I've only had the unit running for one day but so far, so good.

Been a Rabbit Air MinusA2 user for years with no issue except for the price of their filter. This is the only replacement kit you'll want every year, but the company has not been kind in providing discounts for the filter. It's like a printer and ink model really. The only issue is the actual air filter is not cheap either. They should give those for free or pay up front for a few years of filters delivered.Other than the price issue, I have no other complaints in terms of performance. It's operating as intended. Nothing more, nothing less.

Rabbit air air purifier by itself is good. I’m giving a rating of only 1 star for the filter replacement because it is too expensive at $110 plus. I might as well buy a competitor’s air purifier by putting another 50-100 $ and buy a new unit every year. If I’m going to spend this kind of money every year, I might as well do that every year. There’s no complex technology involved in the production of these filters and the raw materials themselves aren’t phenomenally expensive. So it beats me how these filters are priced so high. So the filter replacement is simply not value for money.

I scored a reduced priced kit (a minor bend in the side of one of the filter pieces), and it's the perfect replacement for our way overdue old Rabbit filters for the Minus A2.Once the inside of the filter machine is wiped down, The instructions are easily followed online on which order to place the replacement filters.Keep in mind, the washable screen filter is not included in this kit, but it is durable and long lasting, so shouldn't require replacement.In comparison with ordering directly from manufacturer to Canada, the Amazon pricing is better value and quicker to arrive.The air in my parrot room is once again fresh smelling!
