Swing-N-Slide Heavy-Duty Swing Seat

Perfect for us so far! Much more economical than buying a swing & set of chains separately. The yellow coated area of the chains is more than adequate! I don't see how you could possibly use the swing in a way that you would need to hold the chain above the coated area. I have crazy kids & even they haven't had a problem yet - forward, backward, upside-down, on thier bellies or standing up ;) And the portion of the chain that is not safety coated still has a great, smooth finish that looks as though it will resist rust. The swing seat itself looks to be very well made, is very sturdy, works great for the kids & can easily and comfortably hold an adult (as long as what you're hanging it on can support said weight). I can't speak about the other reviews claiming the safety coating to become melted & sticky, we have not had that problem or any other problem at this point, but I will be sure to update this review if anything changes. Definitely recommend, great buy!!!

We got a new swing set and needed a few swings for it. I had a baby bucket seat but my 2yo wanted her own big girl seat. I picked up another seat a few days after this one so will be comparing the two. The other one was $7 less so will take that into consideration. This seat says that it will hold up to 250lbs and so does the other one. One thing that the other one says on the bag is that it is meant for 3-10 yo. This one has information on the backside, It also has more plastic underneath so it looks heavier and stronger. The chains are both the same length and commercial grade and covered with a yellow plastic coating for comfort and safely. Overall I am very satisfied with this swing. It is perfect for our play set and the girls love it. I think that the this swing is a little better than the other one.

Well..this is indeed, extra duty. Perfect for the kid (5 y.o.) and will even hold my fat ass. Hung it from a tree that has a single rope secured to it. No need for straps or anything. Barring theft (hanging in front yard) or natural disaster, this is definitely the last swing I will ever buy for my daughter. I could see raising it as she grows but this swing will last as long as she needs. The rubberized chain protectant already paid for itself as my wife pushed our kiddo too hard and right off the seat. The rubber gave her sometimes grab on and kept her from getting pinched. I had a hard time with the cost initially but the value of knowing I'll never have to replace or repair this thing exceeds the difference in cost between this and inferior swings.

These are a little more comfortable than the cheaper, thinner ones that collapse and squeeze your lap, and I have two of these that we've had for at least 6-8 years and they work just as well (slightly sun-lightened/weathered, but nothing that impacts usage). I am taking off a smaller swing and this one is to make all of the swings full size. I would recommend them.

I bought 2 of these swings. My main concern with my purchase was that it shows a green seated swing with yellow rubber chains but tells you color may vary. That made me leery Bc we built our swing & all the toys on it are yellow & green. So I msg amazon & they were nice about it but basically you get what you get. But can return it if you aren't happy with it. I went ahead & took the chance Bc I couldn't find a different store that sold these swings. The swings arrived a day earlier than what it was supposed to so I was extremely happy with that & to my surprise I got the color swings I wanted & that was pictured. 😊 They seem to be good swings. So far me & my son like them. We tried them out yesterday. Some ppl said the yellow rubber was a concern but I have the same brand trapeze with the same yellow coated chains & they still look brand new so I'm thinking these will stay nice a long time too. I'll update if I need to in the future but so far we are pleased with them. Nice & sturdy. Again my only concern with the process is it would be nice if ppl could select what color they want. Some ppl may be picky like me & want their swingset to match. Lol

I have a 12-year-old son with autism and one of the few things that he loves to do is swing. Up until point we had managed to drag out the life of our wooden swingset that has survived through 3 boys. This last summer was its last year and it will get torn down soon. He has been very sad over this fact so we thought that we would surprise him with a new swing. I was so happy to find this extra duty swing seat that holds up to 250 lbs. We won't have to worry about the weight limit and know that it will last him for quite some time. The swing seat was thick and heavy compared to many swings out there. The chains are coated so you don't have to worry about fingers being pinched. I liked how the chain was attached to the seat itself because my son loved to take the chains off the old swing and they were a pain to loop back through the seat! With this seat, my teenage sons, my husband and myself can even swing! :)

The most durable swing I found. I bought others and had to return them but this one is great.

The swing is exceptionally well-constructed, and the children are delighted with it.

I received the swing a little before the due date. I am very pleased with the swing! I like the fact that the chain has the plastic so my grandchildren can hold on & not hurt their hands. Great product!!!

Worth the money

Es general todo muy bien con el producto, tiene una buena distancia de las cadenas y tiene un excelente soporte. Llego tal cuál se ve en las fotos. Falta ver como nos va con el paso del tiempo al plastico que cubre la cadena porque creo que si se rompe fácilmente.

Would buy these swings again. Good value and good construction.

Excelente producto!! Deberian de venir todos los sets de columpios con esta calidad. Viene de muy buen grosor. Y las cadenas excelente calidad
