Very good. An easy, fast pace read with good characters
This is a great book. It's not the greatest thing you'll ever read but it's well written, has good characters, it moves at a nice pace and the writing style is very easy going. The only thing I'd say is it did take me 1oo pages or so to really draw me in.I enjoyed Nona's story and I will definitely read the rest of the series. This is a great book if you read a lot of fantasy and you want something a bit simpler, easier after some long series in the genre.

Fantastic story
I love this book! I thought it would be a difficult read, but the writing style is beautiful - stylistic, poetic, yet easy to absorb. I recommend to anyone looking for a fantasy escape into an alternate world of adversity and destiny.

Would make a great TV series
Not the usual read for me, I normally read Tom Clancy “type “ books, but I’m bored with them so I’ve been varying my repertoire. All that being said I really enjoyed the book, it would make a great replacement series for Game of thrones, as long as HBO were involved.

Grimdark Enders Game/Name of The Wind/Insert Magical School Name Here
I like Marks writing. But this was a bit too formulaic for me.I think he has one eye on a few popular fantasy novelists (Scott Lynch, Patrick Roffuss,) and wants a bit of their success. Fair enough. And I think he will have success with it.But in the process he's lost me as a reader.

Brilliant
Absolutely loved this book! The writing style, characters, plot and world building were all amazing. I’m so excited to read the sequel! I really enjoyed reading this book and I’m so so glad I bought it!
