I bought this for my Fitbit Flex 2 to wear as a pedometer since wearing the silicone band makes me break out. The magnet it really strong but am not sure if it matters which way the Fitbit is supposed to be in it. I’m worried if I put the side for charging on the magnet it will mess it up. There wasn’t any instructions that came with the holder so hopefully they've tested it and it doesn’t. I love that this holder is small and undectable while wearing. Except that I keep leaving it on my workout clothes afterwards but that’s something that I’ll get used to. I gave this holder 4 stars because I’ve tried wearing it while I sleep and it has not worked properly yet. I’ve tried wearing it on my night shirt, like the picture shows but the holder came off during the night then I tried it on another place on my shirt and even though it stayed on, I didn’t get a reading the next morning. I’ll try a few more times but I’m guessing I’ll have to wear the band or not use it for sleep results.

I purchased this as wearing the Fitbit on my wrist was leading to a very high step count when the device recorded knitting as cycling!The clip attaches firmly but I think it slightly under records movement.The best solution is probably to have both a clip and a wristband and use the one most suited to your activity.

I love my Fitbit Flex 2 but don’t like wearing it on my wrist or around my neck. One day I just stuck the naked Flex in my pocket while I was walking on the treadmill. What I noticed was that the tracking of distance and time was much more accurate as verified by my treadmill display. It occurred to me that a good clip might be the perfect solution for me.This one is so small and inconspicuous. It looks similar to a lavalier/lapel mic like those worn by news anchors. Mine is black and when worn on a black shirt it is difficult to see. The magnet is very strong and I have no concerns at all about losing my beloved Flex. And I have had no issues with it jumping off and clinging to something metal.

I really like this clip, I can clip it on my shirt or pants/shorts. I gave four stars for one small issue, I walked by a metal, close enough that the magnet which that day I had on the outside of my pocket grabbed the chair and unhooked from my pants. I heard the noise so was able to realize what happened but in a loud room I might not have known it unhooked from my pocket and attached to the chair. Other than that it prefer wearing this clip over the waist band.

Magnet is strong and the Fitbit fits nicely. Really convenient for workouts when I don't want to be wearing the band. Would not suggest every day use as it would be a swift and easy loss because the magnet will be attracted to anything metal that it comes into contact with - brushing a chair, desk, pole on the bus (almost lost it twice trying it out on day 1: on a chair in a classroom and on the bus - it was attached to my pants). So I definitely only intend to use for specific purposes like working out and swimming.
