I ordered this enclosure as part of the process of upgrading the weird little SSD stick in my Taichi 31 ultrabook.After waiting two weeks for the enclosure to arrive, i anxiously opened it up and looked at the pin socket that is not at all like the "blade" SSD i purchased it for. The enclosure came with no packaging or instructions and after a few attempts to connect the SSD i was ready to send it back.Fortunately i did some searching first and found a few pictures of similar devices, with the blade SSD successfully installed in what appears to be entirely the wrong socket. Eventually i was able to make the connection and i skeptically plugged the enclosure into my USB port. This thing does work, converting my old SSD into a blazingly fast external USB 3.0 drive.The enclosure itself is attractive, sturdy and made of some sort of metal-- not plastic. The included cloth pouch is a nice touch. In fact, the only reason i can't give it 5 stars is that it doesn't seem like it should work at all. Hopefully this information will help clear that up!
