Does the ac power adapater come included with this item as it does with the psr-ew400?

There are 2 different power cords for the model. It comes with 1 but not sure which one nowadays. The cord with the box the plugs directly into the wall is less volts and reduces the max vol. The power pack where the box lays on the floor and a regular plug goes into the wall is the higher wattage ac adapter and gives the complete full super loud max volume. Hope that helps. It for sure comes with 1 adapter though. Best keyboard around by far!

Is there a break button?

You mean the Break-Fill? Only the PSR-S Series, Tyros and Genos has those. I wish this does too. Unfortunantly it doesn't.

Does it have a "split key" feature? What about layer/dual? Does it have synth/harpsichord/guitar/choir/harp sounds onboard? Can sounds be downloaded?

You can choose your own key for keyboard splitting or use the default split key. Does have layer/dual voices. Does have synth/harpsichord/guitar/choir/harp voices plus hundreds of others including several drum kits. You cannot download additional voices per se. The Quick Sample feature allows you to record sounds or short song samples via flash drive, usb connected device or aux/in which can then be assigned to a key or keys depending on type of playback desired.
