My Eclectus loves it
I have taken in an Eclectus that was on a diet of sunflower seeds only. I ordered this food to help get him on a better diet. He is loving the food and I learning to eat fruits and veggies. He is 19 yrs old and is just now learning about all the different foods.This mix is just the start of better health and nutrition for himMy only wish is that it could be a better price. I'm just thankful he is accepting it and enjoying it. This is his 2nd bag and he no longer will touch sunflower seeds. Proud moma!

My ekkie loves this
I've tried a handful of bird seeds and pellets and my eclectus really didn't like anything. I like to always have a seed or pellet food out for him other then his veggies and fruits and he would always pick out what he liked. Not with this food he eats it all and his feathers have more of a shine to them. I'm happy I found a diet made just for our picky ekkies. Definitely worth a try. And cost less than some of the top brands. Great quality bird food.

Male Eclectus loves the food
Adopted male eclectus wasn't eating well. Tried Volkman & he is loving it.His feathers are growing back. Absolutely recommend!

Si many sunflower seeds!!
My birds loved this, but it has soo many sunflower seeds. I will not be purchasing again.

Nice & fresh but don't follow feeding instructions
The price has gone way up since the last time I purchased this, but it is very fresh and seems to have less sunflower seeds than before which is kind of a good thing. It is good quality and unfortified with vitamins so it meets the criteria for eclectus.If you free-feed this in large amounts and give it as a complete diet for your eclectus, they won't live long. As adults, they should only be given a tiny bit, like a scant teaspoon or less depending on their weight/activity per day. There is too much fat in it for anything more than that. Eclectus need fresh vegetables, a little fruit, and a tiny bit of seed/nut. They really do better with sprouted seed/beans which I also give, but they do love this mix.

Great Food
Our bird likes the food and he looks great. Their food is very important for their looks and how they feel. I would buy this again..
