Dang-Good Silicon Ear Tips

They're durable ear tips with a wide bore. They'll fit IEMs like the Massdrop Plus (MD+) with zero issues. They also fit the Sennheiser IE80 and Massdrop x Mee Audio Pinnacle PX, as well as the Mee Audio P1 & P2 as well because they use the same shape body. The wide bore facilitates a reduction in bass slam, but more air in the treble region. The divots in the bore also are reputed to help reduce turbulence. These seem to do exactly what they're advertised to do. On top of that, my right ear canal is a bit of an oblong shape, but these tips still seal very well. These are a recommendation from me if you want a bit more air, and a bit less bass from your IEMs. But also, don't expect miracles, these won't completely change the sound and make IEMs that you hate into IEMs that you love, unless they're like, super tip dependent or something. However, these Medium Tips are a bit wider than say Spin Fit's medium size tips. The bore itself is actually much wider, but the overall diameter is wider. So, perhaps the Medium-Smalls are closer to Spin Fit's medium size. Basically just to help people size their tips and ears properly. These are roughly the same size as the medium tips that come with the Pinnacle PX and P1 IEMs.The IEMs that I have tried these tips with, I've like them. I keep them on my IE80 pretty much all the time. The PX/P1 seems to not really care about these, but they're a bit firmer and seal my ear better than their factory medium tips, without being as wide as their large tips.I have been testing these, the factory dual flange tips, Mee Audio dual flange tips, Dekoni Bulletz, and Spin-Fits on the MD+. I generally prefer the sound of of the Spiral Dots on the MD+. But, I keep testing back and forth. Some have said the Plus needs a bit less bass, or more air and/or sparkle in the treble region. These re-balance the sound in a pleasant way, however, I'd try out a bunch of stuff just like I have to see what you like best. These still get a recommendation from me just to have in your tip arsenal. You never know when these will be the perfect companion to your favorite IEMs.

Highly recommended for those who owns JVC's HA-FXT90 and seeks for improvement in sound quality and isolation

The Spiral Dots are JVC's newer stock tips that are included in high-end JVC earphones from Japan division like the HA-FXT100, T200, FX750 and the FX850. I found many positive views from researching on Head-Fi.org, a music gear hobby website, and the ear-tips are supposed to improve the sound quality because it is made from harder material and the spiraling dots etched inside the ear-tips. As a JVC fan I decided to give these a try on JVC earphones I have: JVC's HA-FR201, FXC51, FXD80, and the FXT90. I concluded that the ear-tips work very well on FXT90.From what I tested, here is my summary:1) HA-FR201 - I cannot recommend the spiral dots on these. This makes the already bass-heavy earphone into a bassier one. The mid and high becomes muddied and bass completely dominates the overall sound. It sounds good with the included ear-tips alone.2) HA-FXC51 - The sound becomes more diffused. I noticed the sound from left and right is too separated and this does not mean a "big soundstage". Imagine putting two speaker on your side instead of being in front of you. I cannot recommend Spiral Dots for these. I have been using Meelectronic's Single flange silicone tips on the FXC51 and those give the best sound quality, comfort, and isolation compared to the Stock's.3) HA-FXD80Z - Same as the FXC51. I believe the Spiral Dots won't work on large nozzle. FYI, I use Yamaha's EPH-100's silicone tips for the FXD80Z and they work like a charm.4) HA-FXT90 - This is the best one for FXT90 as far I concern. With the stock tips I find the FXT90 to be a little bass-anemic but with the Spiral Dots it deepens the bass and makes the bass more noticeable. Yet, It reduces the grittines of lower-high/ Upper-mid treble that the FXT90 is infamous for. Yet, it improves the isolation too thanks to the firmer material of the Spiral Dots which allow for better seal.Bottom line, I highly recommend the Spiral Dots for those who own JVC HA-FXT90. The tips are far superior than the stock tips. FXT90 is well-famed for energetic and capable performing earphone but I have had complains as the bass is a little anemic, the upper-mid / lower treble is gritty, and isolation is poor. The Spiral Dots solve those problems and FXT90 stays on the top of my earphone chain.

Before you sell or return your monarch MKII try these.

I got a pair of monarch MKII and they are not very comfortable at all. I tried a few tips and so far these are the most comfortable. I got a size small. I would say i have medium size ears. I normally use a medium in sony tips. The second place would have to go to the dunu S&s tips. I am not sure which tips sound better but they both sound great. I got a medium in the dunu tips as the small works but the bass is pretty much gone with the small. I am happy with these but have a few pairs from other companies in the mail but so far these are the best for comfort with good sound.
