Hat Russian Ushanka Black-62 Soviet Army Soldier

The quality of this hat is excellent. After following the fitting instructions to the letter, my hat fits perfectly. Lining is very comfortable and the exterior makes it cosy in cold conditions.

This hat fits quite well on my head and is very warm, although I would recommend ordering one or two sizes up from your normal hat size as the sizes seem to be a little off. Unfortunately the strings begin to fray almost immediately upon opening, and in my case, I had to cut a sizable chunk off of one of the strings to get rid of the fraying rope. I'd highly recommend that you'd cauterize the ends of the strings (they seem to be made of nylon) or tie them off to prevent fraying.

Fits right, super soft and cosy and looks cool. The pin comes off for those of you who aren't fans of the Soviet Union.

The ushanka is so great. I love it. It fit perfectly. I am a size 61 but I saw other reviews and they said to get a bigger size than what you usually are. I completely agree. You should go up 1 size so that it can fit you perfectly. As for it keeping me warm, it does an amazing job. It keeps my head warm in temperatures below 20 degrees. Although the only thing I have to say about the hat is that it isn't made in Russia. It came from New York. Other than that it was an amazing buy. Would highly recommend.

Badge isn't attached. Very difficult to attach and falls off easily. Finally using a combination of super glue and sewing to keep it on.

While the fit is a bit small, and there is no hole premade for the pin, the hat itself is wonderful. It came with something like woodchips or some-other but after a quick wash it was soft as heck.

Love this product. Ive had it for a couple years and it's done me well. I wear it all winter long and it keeps my head very warm
