Brianna is the friend of Gabe’s daughter. One look at the buxom cheerleader and he was a goner, luckily so was she. They tried hiding their relationship because she was is High school and his daughters friend: that eventually became problematic and they were ultimately found out by his daughter. Drama ensued but in the end, love prevailed.

In this novel there is no question that Daddy is home!Reminiscent of Kristen Ashley's "Knight"; our hero is Gabe Darcey. Yum. Dark, dangerous, and with more muscle than the Russian mob. He is fierce in his attraction and protection of our heroine Brianna.Brianna is what I call a damsel in distress. She makes Cinderella's life look tea time at Buckingham Palace. Beaten by an alcoholic father, she is verbally and psychologically abused. Gabe was truly her white knight...or is it dark knight?The age difference and the heroine's relationship with the hero's daughter is what makes this have teeth. You can see how they both care about each other. That is a given. The subtle touch is the father's love for his daughter. He sneaks his young lover in. They have distracting conversations that will divert and and all roads leading to the discovery of their relationship.Ah, but we all know that what takes place in the dark always looks uglier in the light. So when his daughter Crystal finds out ugly is exactly what she was. She was not shy in spreading it around to all Brianna's classmates and family. Cue beat down from drunk offended Daddy that leads to a his beat down by our Gabe. The ending was sweet. Silver's epilogues are famous among her butterflies and are always a treat to read.Silver has been branching out. A little paranormal, intrigue, mysteries, suspense...etc. I say, "Keep reaching, Jordan!" If writers don't stretch they don't grow.Romance fans are fickle. The get used to a style from a writer and that is all they want to see. Their new releases always compared to their first hit. This can pigeon hole a writer and audience. Silver fans are starting to learn there is more to their Momma Butterfly. She is letting those freaks out!I am excited to see what is coming from her. Her alphas are over the top, her heroines are devoted, and the story is always hotter that hell. Keep your Kindle at least 2 feet away from your face unless you want a nice steamy facial.

So what if she is nineteen and you are thirty-three... So what if she is your eighteen year old daughter’s good friend... So what if she is still in high school... hmmmmmmm??? When Gabe meets Brianna, the heart he thought was long dead to romance comes alive again. They cannot deny their chemistry and don’t really try. Brianna has a horrible home life and finds comfort in his love - even going so far as calling him “daddy” and her “babygirl”! But their road to happily ever after is far from smooth... Between his daughter, his “baby” momma, her parents, his guilt in trying to protect his daughter’s feelings, Brianna acting like a typical teenage female, etc., etc., etc... If this wasn’t a Jordan Silver book, I would have worried that there was no happily ever after - BUT there is and it’s great!

So, I don't review often. Much rather read and move on, but as Mama Butterfly is one of the few authors I follow elsewhere and I have read most if not all of her books, I thought now was the time.Let me start by saying that Jordan Silver is an erotic romance author who writes strong, HOT, alpha men and often times innocent, but still strong, independent women. Ms. Silver is unapologetic about her writing style and her stories and nor should she have to be, she is who she is and who she is is awesome.Jordan has freely admitted to going back to her original style after catching some criticism and deciding that it was better to be her than cater to what others wanted from her. This style is heavy on the erotic, but the story is still very much there.Tryst is a testament to this fact. A May - December romance with a hint of taboo, the sex is beyond hot and the emotion is tangible. The one scene where the H and h ate discovered is uncomfortable, heartbreaking, and just sad. Gabriel and Brianna are so good together and face some difficult and complex obstacles. Thankfully, like all of Mama Butterfly's stories, love wins the day. Tryst is seriously some of Jordan's best work, I definitely recommend!

If you're looking for something taboo and dreaming hot,this book is for you! The only thing I wasn't happy with was his daughter.

I have read all of Ms. Silvers books and loved them. This one is no different. Mr. Darcy is another sexy alpha with a teenage daughter who is friends with our heroine Briana. I love how Jordan Silver has very little angst in her romances. I don't enjoy trouble around every corner and wailing whiney characters who are looking for monsters in every corner. The women are not looking for sympathy and the men are taking care of business and not taking prisoners. This book did not have the strong family aspect that her other books have but it did not take away from the story. Keep them coming Jordan and I'll keep buying and reading. Thank you for another great read!

I must have read this book about 4 times. This is the first book I read for this author and it is one of my favorite. There are few typos but that did not deflect from the storyline and the characters.

Older man meets young (virgin) woman and loses his mind. His daughter is a PITA about him having any relationship that doesn't include her and boy does she cause problems. Smoking hot sex scenes, drama and great characters. A fun, quick read with some teenage angst. Great job Jordan Silver!

What a story! From page one there is smut on almost every page. But beyond that there is a good age gap story too. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read more from this new-to-me author.
