I love it. this is a really beautiful book, based on scientific contents about plants and related activities to do with kids. Images are great and the potential use of this book with kids, enourmous.

I Ate Sunshine for Breakfast is a colorful, engaging science book for kids. The book has many interesting topics on plants and is a great plant resource for children's eduction. It's my 6 and 8 year olds favorite book because of the colorful illustrations, well developed and easy to read topics, and the DIY projects. We found the projects easy to do and really fun with only materials found around the house. The topic we keep coming back to is plant evolution as we talk about the difference and similarities between plants. All told, this is the best kids science book in our library now. Highly recommended.

A dazzlingly illustrated book introducing the young (and not so young) reader to the plant kingdom. It is detailed enough to be thoroughly educating (and for parents too) without delving too deeply into technicalities which may be daunting to some. It also contains practical experiments easily reproduced at home. Edutainment. Highly recommended.
