(Green) - Voltron Green Lion Basic Figure

I'm not sure if my particular Red figurine is faulty (ie I have nothing to compare it to), but it doesn't shoot its missle very far? Compared to the green lions, it's a little anti-climatic, honestly.But the good thing about this figurine is that it can stand up on its own and is pretty steady (unlike the Yellow and Black lion).All in all, it's decent merch, but I'd definitely recommend getting the Legendary Series line over the Basic Series.

Let me start by saying that I was absolutely pumped. The lion looks great for the price -- it's obviously not as nice as the larger Legendary model, but it is still a lot of fun. All four legs are jointed, allowing different poses (although finding one that's sturdy and able to stand on its own is a little hard). The jaw opens, the wings move, and the tail can move a little. My only complaint is that it was packaged with the entire right side exposed through the plastic (presumably so kids can use the "try me" feature of the wings), and this resulted in some paint being scraped off the side. The paint job wasn't very detailed to begin with, so I fully intend to repaint it myself, but it was a little annoying to have it arrive in less than pristine condition. But overall, this is an excellent toy and I'm going to really enjoy having the Black Lion watching over me from my bookcase!

Some really nice features: legs go "click" when you move them; tail is adjustable; projectile fires out of the lion's closed mouth (you don't have to open the mouth to fire)--in all, a good, solid action figure.

This is great if you're not interested in collecting all the lions and assembling Voltron. The joints all have a nice ratchet joint and pretty much stay where you put them. The missile actually snaps in the mouth far enough to allow the mouth to be closed so you don't see it until you press the button on the back and the mouth automatically opens and fires.

I bought this to collect, not to play with. It’s actually a little bigger than I thought it would be which is awesome. Packaging came undamaged which I’m happy about because I saw a review saying theirs came destroyed. I don’t know how well they are as actual toys but if you’re a fan these are really cool!
