VITAL EATS So-Cheezy Dairy Free Sauce, 16 OZ

So I don't do the dairy free, gluten free, meat free, salt free taste free stuff but a family member had to go dairy free for a while so I did some searching and found Vvital Eats. They gave me a free container if I would do a review. I was hesitant because normally I put vegan products in a food group category I label as OMG PEOPLE REALLY EAT THIS STUFF? But I grabbed a chip and a huge glass of milk because milk is what you need to wash nondairy away right? But to my surprise there was no need to drown my taste buds in milk. These guys rocked this stuff, it's really good. The second taste test would be Thanksgiving dinner with the so-cheezy mixed in with red lentil pasta. There were lots of leftovers except for the pasta and so-cheezy , the dish was empty .

I bought 4 jars and threw them out. My son is allergic to all dairy products, but this was terrible! Other makes are a ton better.

He has too much vinegar for my taste. But it wasn’t bad. The people that work at the company are really good about answering questions and even wrote a hand written note on the receipt. I really appreciated that and I know they appreciated my purchase.

The macros are great and the company’s customer appreciation was great. While I like the taste it’s not necessarily super cheesy tasting as part of the base is made with tomato paste. But I still highly enjoy it on my veggies as a healthy snack.

I found this vegan "cheeze" sauce at TJ Maxx and decided to give it a try. Now, I am no stranger to vegan cheese. I've even made some delicious vegan cheese myself. I was excited to try this sauce and I ended up highly disappointed. It tasted more like overly sour tomato sauce. It's passable for a thick tomato sauce, but it's in not way shape or form reminiscent of even vegan cheese. Change the name from so cheezy to so sour.

Tastes delicious! I dip chips in here or I put it as a sauce on pasta. When I first ordered it the shipping guy threw it in front of my house and one of the glasses broke. I emailed the seller and he was so apologetic and sent me a new one and a hot sauce for no additional charge. Seller is so nice and cares for his customers and the sauce itself is amazing.
