Really BAD pressing.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I am very disappointed. This was announced back in May and I placed my pre-order. Then they delayed the release and the vinyl was no longer limited. This vinyl I received was made in Canada. The packaging is flimsy. There is a BIG hole in the front and the inner plastic sleeve is what protects the actual vinyl from the outside. Now let's talk about the pressing. The pictures online are waaaay more attractive than what I received. The white is not white on my vinyl rather a nicotine yellow. I never bought a picture disc before and after this I will never buy another picture disc again. Wannabee was fine --- then Say You'll Be There was HORRIBLE. As you can hear in the video there are three loud pops. This is not the only track that has this. I noticed 3 other tracks on the first side that have LOUD popping and crackling. Really bad. Some of my old vinyls are not even as bad as this NEW pressing. I am really disappointed. The hype this record received and then the actual product is really disappointing. Also I received NO download code for digital tracks. Was this included with the US release?Does anyone else have this issue with their vinyl? The popping the crackling. Also the volume is LOW. I have my volume cranked all the way up and it's not loud at ALL. Any other record would blow people out of the house.Volume. Popping. Crackling. Please let me know if anyone else has this issue. Maybe we can get a recall or something.... This is absolutely horrible for the price.Never again.

DO NOT waste your money on this vinyl release.
This LP is a huge missed opportunity! The songs are fantastic (of course) but WOW what a terrible hack job they did of making the record. 28 minutes of music on side one alone. Anyone who listens to vinyl knows that this is WAAAAY too much audio on one side. Remember the old K-Tel records from the 70s? They often had 28-30 minutes of audio per side and they weren't exactly known for their audio quality. Just because something *can* be done doesn't mean it should be done. The more music you have per side, the less quality you get in audio reproduction. This record's audio quality is at the absolute lowest end of that spectrum. :(They had to master everything at an extremely low volume in order to make all the music fit on one side. The music is so low that the sound of the needle moving though the vinyl is clearly present in all tracks, and actually overpowers the music itself during some of the quieter moments. There are also lots of mastering faux-pas like sibilance durin many songs, but especially Mama. The audio sounds like it *may* have been mastered for vinyl, but it sounds like it was done by a hack. The audio is compressed more than it needs to be, especially on a record where it is recorded so quietly. All that does is add distortion. Some songs sound like they were sourced from CD (which makes them sound thin and tinny on vinyl). There are numerous clicks and pops throughout the album, even brand new and after a professional washing. Pops and clicks are just a standard by-product of picture discs, but because the volume of the audio is so low, the abundance of pops and clicks is a nightmare that overpowers the music. As someone else said: I have old records that have been played over and over that sound cleaner than this. Before anyone says "pops and clicks are part of the vinyl experice" let me explain: they don't need to be. I have many properly produced LPs that haven't got a single pop on them during playback if they're cleaned properly fist! The manufacturing process used to create a picture discs is just particularly prone to pops and clicks. Add to that an excessive amount of audio per side, and it is a recipe for disaster.A picture disc is basically a flat disc with a picture on it, then an extremely thin slice of vinyl, with the music already transcribed onto it, is affixed on top of this picture. Unlike regular non-picture disc LPs, the grooves are not very deep, and therefore will likely cause more pops and crackle. Remember the old flexi discs? This is essentially a flexi disc glued onto a round plastic photograph. This record sounds like absolute hot steaming POOP.Do NOT waste your money. And better yet: if you DID buy it, return it to Amazon for a refund, claiming the quality is too low.Maybe Universal will think twice before trying to steal $40 (after shipping!) for an oversized coaster that should never be placed anywhere near a turntable. After reissuing Spice Girls' first album on vinyl a couple of years ago, they should just reissue "Spice World" and be done with it. Nobody needs this hot mess in their collection except maybe to hang up on a wall like a poster. UGH

YAY!
I'm giving this 3 stars because the picture on this post says it comes with a digital download code and it DOESN'T. This does NOT come with a digital code at all. Other then it, it sounds amazing and all that. LOVE the picture vinyl. It would have been nice to get the digital download with this like the picture shows.Edit: I agree with all the negative reviews on here. It's a nice novelty but beyond that it was made very poorly. I haven't heard loud pops but the package is very crappy.

Spicy Picture Disc
I have been anticipating this release since it was announced a few months ago and it is just as beautiful as I imagined it would be!This Spice Girls picture disc is easily one of the prettiest I have ever seen in all of my years of music collecting and you can really tell that the designer put a lot of effort in its presentation. Once you slide the picture disc from its somewhat cloudy innersleeve, you are greeted with a more current picture of the Spice Girls from their first reunion tour. This was a really cute and nice touch! This is definitely one of those releases that you frame and put on a wall. Now, for the sound quality. Picture discs are notorious for their surface noise and subpar sound quality and unfortunately, this one falls into that category. It is not a complete train crash like I have seen from other picture discs but, the sound quality just isn't there. I feel like it is more of presentation piece rather than something you would actually put on your turntable. With all of that said, I would absolutely recommend this Spice Girls picture disc to my fellow Spice fans out there! This is definitely a collectible not to be missed.

Lazy and cheaply made release.
This was an awesome idea but done very cheaply, especially for how much it costs! The sound quality of this vinyl is awful and should have been done on a double lp set. The packaging feels cheap and flimsy, and the cheesy picture collage on side B of the vinyl is some of the laziest work I’ve ever seen done by a record company. I’m keeping it for the novelty of it all but I really wish it just sounded better.

Great album to final have on vinyl but definite quality issues
Of course most SG fans will have this album already on CD/download but the collectors, like me, will be dying to get the hands on this ‘not so limited anymore’ vinyl. The album alone deserves 5 stars but I have knocked 2 stars off for the quality. I’m slightly disappointed. There is the expected hum in the background from a picture Disc but there is also constant crackling which, although nostalgic, becomes a bit annoying after a few songs especially at the beginning of the slow songs like Viva Forever.I’m happy I now have this but I would have preferred if they’d taken a bit more time and made a 2LP version so not to diminish on the quality.

At last - the greatest hits of the world's biggest girl group on vinyl!
2019's been a good year for all things Spice Girls. Released to tie in with their stadium concert dates around the UK this summer, this marks the first time that their 2007 best of album 'Greatest Hits' has been available on vinyl - and as a picture disc to boot too.I own the vinyl reissue of the 'Spice' album that came out a few years ago, and the 7" picture disc they did of 'Wannabe' for their label, Virgin Records' 40th anniversary, so I'm delighted to be able to add this to my collection. All the hits including their nine UK number one singles are on there, 'Say You'll Be There', '2 Become 1', 'Spice Up Your Life', 'Stop', 'Viva Forever', 'Who Do You Think You Are', and are split evenly across the two sides of the vinyl.Listening to them all in order makes you realise firstly what great pop singles they are that have stood the test of time, but also how wonderful they sound on this format. Hopefully Virgin will see sense to bring out their other two studio albums 'Spiceworld' and 'Forever' for a long overdue vinyl reissue after this. Any girl power fans out there make sure you don't miss out on getting this in your collection.

A major let down after a long delay!
Shocking sound quality. The crackles and pops are awful. Cheaply made for a quick buck. Not worth the money at all. This record can not possibly be enjoyed.

Crackle and hiss but pop
A nice looking picture disc but very poor pressing when compared to other picture discs I own. Constant crackle/hissing can be heard throughout the record. Such a shame.

90’s Nostalgia-Packed Compilation from Spice Girls
I’m not excited that this greatest hits was actually pressed on a picture vinyl disc, I was expecting a lot of surface noise, like any other other picture vinyl disc I’ve had in the past, however, this edition was perfection - there was minimal surface noise considering my record player was mediocre. Spice Girls songs sounded beautiful on this limited edition picture disc vinyl! Considering I had to wait for two months for this order to be completed since it was on pre-order and travelled 8,000 miles down to the South Atlantic, it was so worth the wait. Good job to everyone who made this Greatest Hits collection well-crafted!
