The Barn Owl is one of the most wide-spread of all land birds, most commonly found nesting in barn lofts or woodland habitats on all continents (except for Antarctica). This sweet winged creature is a medium sized owl with no ear-tufts and a heart-shaped face. Needle felted out of 100% Southern Appalachian wool, it measures at 3.5 inches tall and 2.5 inches wide (not including twig perch). Firmly felted, yet soft enough for sensory delicious play from infancy and beyond for years to come. Barn owl comes perched on a twig, hanging by a 4.5 inch looped cotton chord. Please include in notes to seller if you would rather the owl detached for more hands on play. The owl you receive may look only slightly different due to the handcrafted construction. It will be the same size, color, and have the same characteristics.
