Lost a stone and feel great
Decided to have a go at this a couple of months ago. I cut out processed sugar, alcohol, dairy, wheat / gluten and other foods on the banned list, including potatoes and fruit (other than berries). It probably sounds like hell, but when you look at the foods you can eat, things look a lot brighter. You can have a steak and sweet potato chips for example, not to mention your fill of veg, wild fish and certain types of nut. I did the month and felt marvelous. I shed almost a stone without once feeling hungry, got rid of the energy crashes I'd been experiencing and also started waking up without the aches and pains I'd previously put down to 'age'. Better still, I haven't gone back to the sweets, biscuits and bread since. I'm still following the plan, albeit with a couple of glasses of wine or cider per week. I feel way too good to give that feeling up! If you want to feel better and / or lose weight, this is a very good book to buy.

Get ready to SPEND!
I bought this book to improve my health, as I am sure many of you did too. But about half way through reading I became incredibly frustrated because I had started adding up how much this was going to cost me before I started. I live in the UK, and while organic veg are reasonably easy to find, the only way to get 100% grass fed meat is to get it online... which you then need to get delivered and have the fridge and freezer space available to store it. (I don’t have the space available ever.)He also recommends a water distiller or similar device, which start around £75 upwardsThere is then a Ton of vitamins, supplements and some shakes he wants you to buy from him. For the 28 day cleanse your’e looking at giving Dr Pedre $525 and that’s before you’ve bought any food. There are also Some other vitamins and supplements that he has not produced and branded, but all these things start to add up.SO by my calculations, if you want to do this died 100% correctly, you’ll need nearly £1000 just to get started and do the 28 day cleans. He’s a smart man, he’s figured out how to get the most money out of every person buying this book and all without ever having to do a consultation with anyone. Smart move Dr.Having said all this... I believe his information is sound. I just wasn’t mentally, emotionally or financially prepared to have to spend that much money trying to sort my health out.

Read with an open mind and ignore silly sweeping statements without backup but overall a good book.
Fascinating. This is where medicine will be heading in the next few decades. Evidence base is still not robust enough to be mainstream but it mostly makes sense. Read with an open mind and ignore silly sweeping statements without backup but overall a good book.

Bad book, bad advice
This book is a joke!!, i bought the book and now want to return it, anyone who sais sweeteners are good and natural honey is bad, is moron. My family member is a dr and worked in a Labratory for a decade, proved sweetners are very very bad, any sweetner, and honey is safe because its a complex sweet, rather then a simole one.Better for your gut and health to have honey and stay away from all sweeteners, even Stevia. As a person who is pre diabetic, Honey is the only sweetness i can tolerate, that sais something to.I would not follow this guys advice to starve yourself of the most important complex carbohydrates or sweeteners, he exnays all those items. It will cause you harm.
