Periscope Hardcover Booklight in a Bookcover (Brown)

I have been diagnosed with MS. My eyes don't work like they used to.This periscope booklight is a 'godsend' for me. I love to read and due to my illness, I had been unable to see the pages very well. This booklight really 'does the trick'! I am now able to see the pages almost like before!The light does not make the book too heavy, even though there are 4 batteries involved in helping to create the light. I now own 4 of them...2 for paperbacks and two for hardcover books!Thank you for giving me back the gift of reading!IT WOULD BE GOOD IF A LIGHT WERE AVAILABLE FOR THE IN-BETWEEN BOOKS! SUCH AS 50 SHADES OF GREY...NEITHER COVER WILL WORK WITH A BOOK LIKE THAT!

I am a constant reader. After hitting 40, it is hardcovers only. Can't stand reading off screens either. My book collection exceeds 300 books. I am always disappointed when I tear the paper cover or drop water, juice or beer on it. Plus I hate leaving finger stains on the real hardcover when reading and eating. The eyes are not what they used to be and I always had one of the clip on lights. This looked like the perfect solution. However, I was very disappointed with this product. The cover is works fine. However, when I first got it the light would not come on. So I online chatted Amazon because I did not want a refund, I wanted one that worked. That was on Friday night. I kept tinkering with it pulling it up and down because I saw it flash once. I finally got it to light, but it would not stay on and sometimes would not light at all. Wednesday I found a new light in the mailbox. It could have come earlier because I don't walk out there every day and check it. I quickly put new batteries in the new one and it lit right up. I was so happy until I sat down to read. The it started dimming and brightening. Then flickering started. The light was so unstable with the flickering all, I turned it off and gave up using it. Very disappointing!

The best booklight I have found. Period. Hands down a Huge win for the avid reader! Some slight difficulty loading books nearing 800 pages, Robert Jordan, a few Kings, But overall THE BEST I have found. Excellent light distribution, the light stays where you point it, I have nothing negative to say about this light.

So they have two sizes for the tiny paperbacks and one size for the huge books but no in between? Bugs the crap out of me.

I like these book covers because it keeps my books in good shape. When i’m done with them, they have protected my book to give the book to someone else.

I ordered the color brown and got burgundy,very disappointed. However i like the overall product. It serves the purpose in which I purchased it for. I hate to send things back so guess I am stuck with the color burgundy.
