Amazing service! I bought my 3rd reel (for my 3rd RV), and when I discovered a problem with the reel, I communicated via email with Southwind. They sent a new reel right away without any hassles. Great company with great people!

Gave it a 5 stars because this device should have come with clamps on the wire ends that connects to the battery. I have a small battery jumper that I use to power the reel. It would be nice if it had the ability to bypass the gearing as apposed to forcing the motor and gears to go backwards. Otherwise I have a 50 amp cable about 35 feet that this device is able to coil as long as you keep the coils tight. It drags that heavy cable effortlessly and there is plenty of room left on the spool. I am estimating my 50 amp cable is between 35-40 feet.

Not sure what these other reviewers are thinking. This thing would be lucky to take 3rd place in an elementary school science fair. It looks like it was made from scraps of metal they pulled from the dumpster. It spins so incredibly fast that you don't have time to guide the cord and if you let go of the momentary switch for a split second to unkink or guide your cord, all your hard work is undone as the cord unravels on the reel. There is no latch to keep the reel from unrolling when the power button is released. The 4 screws (3 are visible in the picture) to the left of the twist lock cord in the picture are sharp and stick a considerable distance inside the tubular housing. It was enough to gouge the twist lock on my 50a cord from just coiling it up once. This would be an okay deal for $60. At $200 it's quite comical. I was expecting a quality item, not this garbage. This is one of the rare instances where the other reviewers let me down. Trust me, you'll be much happier just manually winding your cord and storing it in a bag compared to the damage and frustration this thing will cause.

This is for 30A shore power extension cords. I made the mistake of thinking it was for shore power cables. There are no electrical contactors on this unit.

I mounted the buyers under body tool box in the skirting of my camper and mounted this inside. It’s the cats meow now.

My husband ordered this. The first one didn't work but a couple times and then quit. Sent it back and they immediately sent a replacement, works great!!!

Powerful little motor, but it needed some refinements. The center reel center cover has sharp screws that protrude into cord end compartment and the center opening for the cord needed edge guard around it.

Best thing since sliced bread. Rolls my 50 amp cord effortlessly. Great product for the money. Easy and simple install.
