Amazing quality and taste
OMG this olive oil is much better than anything I have used so far. The taste is amazing. Great value for the money on the larger size. It also much fresher, they have the packing date on the can. Better that it is in the can/tin as well since it will keep the olive oil fresher for a longer period of time but it tastes so good that I will go through it before it expires for sure. For those complaining about damage to the tin, mine came wrapped in bubble wrap in a box, then was placed in an amazon box. still had a small ding but who cares!!!

Real Italian olive oil
I was born and raised in Italy and my mom used this oil since the 80s… maybe earlier! Therefore I was beyond happy to find it here in the US. Unfortunately the price is steep but I was taught to never be stingy with food quality so…

Highest quality ingredients sourced from the pure soils of Italy
Unfortunatly this is not true. My can lists 3 additional countries . The above title is referenced from Monini’s description of their Olive Oil. 1 star for false advertising

Effectively packaged + a good expiration date!
After tasting about 20 olive oils from various articles, we fell in love with this one as kind of our “swiss army knife” of olive oils, good enough for dressing and/or finishing but not a waste to cook with. Easily better than the store brands as far as consistent flavor, flavor being present without being robust. And the real kicker: this seller triple bubble wrapped the oil container and the product doesn't have an frustrating expiration date! I don't have to somehow use 3L of oil tomorrow!

Good but they need to pack it properly.
From a taste perspective, it’s great, delicious and fresh, and it’s also really good value. However, I had to deduct a star as, because it was just thrown in a box with no bubble wrap or paper, the can was all dented - I had to bang the base of it back into shape with a heavy mallet just to get it to stand up. Also, it’s kind of hard to pour without spilling until you get the hang of it but that’s on me rather than the product! (Note - it is a blend of oils from different parts of the Med, not Italian oil. That’s fine, but it says ‘produced in Italy’ so it’s maybe a tiny bit misleading.)

Update - WARNING WARNING - NOT Italian Olive Oil !!!!!!!!!!
The label on the can reads:"Contains extra virgin olive oils from one or more of the following orgins: Italy (IT), Spain (SP), Greece (GR), Portugal (PO). Please find the country of orgin code printed on the top of the can"My can included a mixture of olive oil from ALL 4 countries!!! - see photo IT, SP, GR, PO = Low QualityThe Amazon ad reads:"Product of Italy | Highest quality ingredients sourced from the pure soils of Italy to provide the finest tastes to your cooking and delicacy needs. Enjoy this product knowing that you are bringing a true, rich taste directly from ItalyIGP | This product is sealed with approval and is IGP: Protected Geographical Indication; knowing that it was produced and bottled in Modena, Italy"What a joke! This is misleading!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~After using Monini Olive Oil I change my rating from 1 star to 3 stars. The taste and quality of the olive is quite good. Of course Italy, Spain, Greece, and Portugal are all excellent olive oil producing countries. If only Monini would not mislead and correctly market their olive oil and not claim that it's 100% from produced in Italy I could give it 4 stars. However, the fact that they are combining olive oil from 4 countries into one can, this can never be a 5 star product. At the current price of $55 it does offer value.
