Cheap timer is quiet. Wanted louder ones to hear over kids.

Do not buy this timer, it never worked accurately and now it stopped working altogether. I cannot recommend this Deercy Kitchen Timer.

If the magnet were stronger, this would be a perfect product.The timer interface is so intuitive: rotating the timer to the desired time is a breeze. The fact that it measures in 10-second increments is great. The fact that it can count down from a specified amount of time, or up (but not to a specified amount of time) makes it even better.But...the magnet on this timer is weak. I had imagined that this timer would be easy to operate with one hand. However, the weak magnet means I need to use one hand to steady the base while my other hand turns the timer. If the magnet were a little stronger, it would be easy to operate with one hand. But it is not.I recommend this timer for its ease of use, but make sure you understand that it will require two hands to operate.Reviewer's note: I received this timer free for the purpose of testing and reviewing.

I absolutely love the look of this timer. It has an extremely simple design and the pink color is bold and beautiful.This timer is one of the more unique ones I’ve seen in how it is set. It can count up or count down depending on which way you turn it. To start the count up timer, just press the play button on the bottom. To set the count down time, you can either turn the outer “ring” clockwise or counter clockwise depending on how long you need it set for. This is all shown in the brief video.The timer beeps when it is complete. It is not an overly loud beep so I would definitely take it along with me if I were leaving the kitchen. This is the only drawback that I had.I love the fact that it has a strong and secure magnet built in. It sticks tightly to my refrigerator so it is always handy when I need it.I will not only be using this in the kitchen while cooking but also when we are playing games that need a timer as well. I purchased this item at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

This timer is exactly what I was looking for! It's cute, sticks to my fridge without slipping, and it's not too loud. When I'm in the kitchen, if I turn on the faucet it almost completely masks the sound of the timer going off-- this may not be great for some, but for me this is ideal as I find loud timers very stressful and generally keep a pretty quiet home.
