Do I upload the pictures when purchasing or am I just purchasing the cubes?

You are purchasing the cubes only, you get the photos printed locally

Hi, How should images be loaded? Individual 3.5x3.5s or a cubed-sheet of 6 photos folded together?

The pictures are loaded individually. The surface space for each one is slightly smaller than a standard picture so I had to trim mine down, but the result was great. I gave them as grandparent gifts and they loved them!

What holds the photos to the outside edges of the cube?

To be honest, I just leave the box that comes in it on the interior. It's already the correct shape. I hope this helps. Happy shopping!

Can I put something inside or is it enclosed?

It comes apart in two pieces, so you can put something inside. I put photos on each side of mine.
