Pacer Aero Men's Roller Skate

I absolutely love these skates, and I am having a blast with them this summer. I have worn them mostly outside on concrete or pavement. They skate very smooth and can handle the occasional little pebble or stick, but I don't want to fall so I don't push the limits of what I can skate over. They feel like a really heavy shoe, because they are basically a comfortable sneaker with skates, which is what I wanted instead of a boot like style. The skates themselves are great, they have a metal frame vs plastic frames, which is the best way to go especially if you’re planning to skate outdoors. They look simple, all black in color and personally I like that. I do wish the metal frame was coated/painted black to match but that’s really just a personal aesthetic preference. When I wore them to the skating rink they were still very smooth feeling even after wearing them outdoors several times. I was also able to change out the shoe laces for some that would glow under the black lights when at the rink. There is a Velcro strap that I use to hold down the extra lace because I don’t like stuffing it into the side of the skate, so I really appreciate the Velcro strap, it makes everything feel more secure even after lacing them up tight. The adjustable stopper works great, but occasionally it does get tightened way to tight from using the stoppers to stop or slow down from a quick speed, so I have to use a grippy tool (like to open a jar) to get it loose to adjust it, but that’s normal with adjustable stoppers. I’m looking forward to making them more unique when I am ready to replace the wheels & bearings and I appreciate that I can do that. Personally I’m going to take them to my closest skate shop and hopefully have someone show me how to change the wheels etc, that or teach myself from YouTube. But I know that I can do that with these skates, where as some that I looked at everything is built to stay as is beyond the laces. I think these are an excellent value and made to grow with a person. I would say these are definitely not for beginners. These are speed skates designed to go fast. I wanted a skate that would fit like a sneaker, and these skates are that, but they’re not for beginners. More traditional boot style skates give the ankle a lot more support when skating and I understand why boot styles are the way to go for beginners. I am over 30 and have been on skates to roller blades since I was 8 or 9 years old. I have lost my balance and slipped on these skates and it’s not fun. Please take caution and wear the appropriate gear like helmets and pads anytime you get on skates. It’s absolutely a fun hobby and can be a fun new way to exercise!

Love ‘em’ they fit perfectly, low profile. They seem like great quality. Definitely a big step up from my last pair of skates

Love the skates. Pretty comfortable and wheels roll good. Wore them to the skating rink and bought a set of outdoor wheels for the trail nearby. Insoles need replacing but otherwise good to go.

I was looking for a nice stock all-black skate to use when I go to roller rinks and these ticked all of my wants: –All of the components (minus the silver plate) are sleek black and are good quality for the price, including the wheels and bearings! –Metal plate is sturdy and bushings are robust when handling hard impacts (like jumping) –The boot is stiff enough to keep your foot in place when doing quick footwork even with the low cut. –The boot is made of a combo of plastic and pleather, so it looks nice and should hold up for a while. The velcro cross strap helps with additional stability. Overall, these have been a great first pair of quad skates for me and I'm very happy with them so far! I love the minimal, all-black design of these skates and the quality of the stock parts. We'll have to see how the material of the boot holds up... after a few falls at the rink, I've found that it scuffs/scrapes away very easily, but otherwise they've been excellent for my use.

I used to go skating regularly as a kid and through my teens. Now my son is in love with skating so I wanted to get us both skates so we could make it a ‘thing’ again! Found these for myself and I couldn’t be happier. I wear a size 9 women’s shoe and ordered the 8 because they are men’s sizes. They fit perfectly with room to move and they are very comfortable. I ordered on a Tuesday and got them on Wednesday. HappySkate is really on top of things!! I had a lot of trouble finding some for my son, but finally ended up finding some, also sold by HappySkate but fulfilled by Amazon... they are for his birthday (having a skate party) and they’re going to be here next week which is too late, but he’ll still love them. I just wish Amazon was on top of things like they used to be. I would recommend looking for sold and shipped by HappySkate if you purchase skates on Amazon. *NOTE: no Bostons were harmed during the making of this review*

These are such great skates. I remember aroung co-vid, everyone was really getting back into skating and so was I. I had bought some expensive skates but didn't want to damage them with all of my falling. I did some research and found these. I bought them, tricked them out, and it was love. Well, long story short, those got stolen... which is a weird compliment to how great they are, I guess. So I had to get them again. They didn't disappoint... I love these skates.

I was looking for an entry level skate that have an aluminum chasis with adjustable toe stop. Did a lot of research and found a good review of the skate on youtube and decided to give it a try. My application is for outdoors so I knew upfront I needed to change the wheels since the ones it comes are for indoors. I purchase the Moxi Skates - Classic - Outdoor Roller Skate Wheels - 4 Pack of 40mm x 65mm 78A Wheels along with the Rollerbones Bearings 8mm 16pk. Changing them only took my about 10 min and I am really impress on how well it rides on paved rodes and on concrete. The boot is really confortable and the skates do not feel that heavy. Really happy with the purchase.

I just roller skated with them today for the first time! I like them, they are pretty nice! For the price they are not bad. They are not the best skate in the whole wide world but they are definitely better than most. They are made well, and the wheels world fantastic on the outside road. I am going to start skating on smoother roads though because mine has a lot of pot holes and is janky. You definitely have to break in the boot, and I also put insole cushions in mine for extras comfort. The wheels are a softer rubber for outside use. The boot I freel should last for quite some time. I would recommend spraying some wd40 on the bearings or soaking them. But overall I am satisfied and happy to be out on the road again skating like I used to.

Fits true to mens sizes. I wear a men's 9 regular width and these skates fit snug with a bit of room in the toe.
