Samsung DA29-00020B Refrigerator Water Filter Replacement for DA29-00020A,HAF-CIN EXP (3 PACK)

Purchased for Samsung refrigerator. Filter leaked and damaged our wood floor.Soon after my review was posted, I was contacted by Fabfill who wrote:Hello Mark,I see you posted a comment about the filter (Used for Samsung replacement. I've contacted a reputable installer as recommended from the supplier of the flooring. The good news is that the flooring is still current and is available. Once the repairs are completed, covered and reimbursed; I can move forward with re-trying your filter and revising my review.I haven't heard from them since...

Does not fit in my Samsung fridge. Does not lock into place. Water still gets filtered, however months later I found water pooled under the deli drawer and starting to leak out, onto the floor. Bad product design!!!! would not buy. Only used one of the three and now they are all going in the trash. Should have purchased the real thing.I have a Samsung French door fridge where the filter is located above the deli drawer... I read the reviews before my purchase and some people had good luck with it, sadly I did not. And its too late to send back for a refund. Unhappy with this design.

I bought a three pack of these for my Samsung fridge and put on shelf until needed to replace one in fridge. First one I put in did not filter out bad taste from water, which is why I bough them in the first place. After gagging for a few nights on the awful taste, I changed it to the second of three hoping for better luck. Well, water tasted better but the damn thing leaked all over the floor! of course I changed that one immediately, and installed the third. This one did not leak and did get most of the taste out, but still a bit of chlorine taste. Samsung brand filters have never leaked for me and take out ALL unwanted chlorine taste. Not worth saving a few bucks, get the name brand or your the fool as I was.

These don't work. If I could give you zero stars I would. While it looks the same the neck is slighly larger than the OEM filter. I tried one and messed with for a bit to try and get it to seat and put the original back in. I put it up for a bit and came back to it later. Tried the second of the three I was shipped. It didn't work. Realized it was not available for return. As I am 5 days past the allowed time. I'm stuck with filters that don't work. That I paid 30 bucks for. Thanks Fabfill and the retailer who sold them that put a limit on the return date. You both suck for selling a bad non fitting product with bad tolerances for measurements. A set of calipers tells me that the the neck does not match the OEM. Its slightly larger. So, I guess I will just have to spend the extra money I didn't already have on the Samsung filters.

Folks, there is some misleading information here!First, I do want to say these fit my Samsung refridgerator perfectly. Slipped right in, locked right into place, and after doing a couple gallon purge of the line and filter the water comes out tasting the same as when I installed a fresh new Samsung brand filter. So, a couple stars for that!In the description it says ". All components NSF-42/53 certified. " Not true. These filters are NOT 53 certified, and the paperwork included with the filters does make this clear. I bought these because I thought they were the only aftermarket ones I could find 53 certified. Pretty disappointed; if they had not mislead me I would have given these five stars.

I bought the filters because the specifications said it replaced Samsung DA29-00020A. It does not. The filter looks the same as the previous filter but will NOT lock into place. I turned off the water so there should have been no pressure making this difficult. I swapped out the old filter with the new several times -- the old filter locked immediately into place, the new filter did not. Guess you get what you pay for.

After reading the reviews after I bought the product I am now a little worried about my purchase. The filter seemed to fit right in. Nice a snug. It took about 3 minutes for the water to come out consistently (as per the information about installation). My only complaint, and this might not be the product's problem is that my filter indication light on the front panel is still on. There might just be a reset button. I'm crossing my fingers that nothing will go wrong but as of now, it's working great.

All three filters leaked. Unfortunately I didn't catch the leak until water started to appear from underneath my refrigerator. Unfortunately, I purchased these ahead of time to have extra on hand so I am out the full purchase price. Very disappointed that these did not work. Will try another brand or just by the Samsung filters.
