Hook and Eye Tape for Sewing Project (Black)

This tape is awesome, exactly what I needed for a great price. I needed it for corsets and it’s super strong. It came much faster than expected. Now that I tested it out, going to order more!

I used this tape on a sewing project that turned out beautifully.

It’s cheap but you get what you pay for. Bought this for a dress and it just doesn’t stay shut right, it’s loose & the hooks don’t curve. I ended up sewing on the hooks & eyes myself..

This is on a good weight cotton. I installed it for alternative purposes - hanging a “bed skirt” from a difficult location. It sewed on easy, hardware worked perfectly, and the project was accomplished!

Its a nice hook / eye tape.For me the clasp was a bit loose when moving around and I found the top I used this on kept unhooking its self with little effort. I wish the hook was a bit tighter on the clasp.

Poorly made, several eyes were not stitched and fell off. The hooks do not lock , Any movement and came unhooked . I even pinched each hook to make tighter and still did not stay hooked. Had to remove from garment and find alternative.

This hook and eye tape is just as described and is perfect for the Civil War Period dress I am making. The 100% cotton backing is thin enough that it will move with the fabric of the dress.
