Fantastic plugged into tb5 and connected 2, 2k monitors without any issues. Worked out of the box and gave me a spare tb5 port. Thank you for a great product.

Very pleased with this dongle. I'm powering two 4K monitors @60Hz and saves me a Thunderbolt 5 port on my Mac Studio (M4 Max). This thing barely gets warm to the touch so it will take a permanent spot on my desk. The only slight annoying thing for me is the length of its cable. I wish it was longer so I could attach it to the back of one of my monitors and hide it from view. I would recommend buying some thinner DisplayPort cables to make this cable mess easier to manage.

Will let one video channel pass through, but isn't doing the splitting. I'm not sure if it is a linux issue or not.

I bought this with a hope that it would work correctly on the new M1Max chipset. The statements for the M1 said it would only support 1 monitor (which I would expect is the case as this is a know limitation of the device). However the M1Pro and M1Max are capable of supporting more monitors. I can confirm that I have been able to drive two monitors from this connector. So far so good!

Don't work with Mac Studio M3 Uttra as a Dual display. You have strange behaviours like it's don't remember the resolutions or it's stuck on 30mhz. Wase of money.

I drive two 5k2k @60hz monitors using this adapter, and it works perfectly. Thunderbolt puts less strain on the computer system than USB so I prefer this over USB. I tested it on a 2017 MacBook Pro, and a Windows PC.

No issues at all, product works perfectly and is well made! I only use for my working from home set-up but it’s exactly what I needed.

I connect my two monitors to my laptop and so far it works like the first day. Very robust and well built. Recommended.

Quería montarme un set up con mi MacBook M4 conectándolo a dos pantallas externas pero utilizando únicamente un USB C, si eso es lo que estas buscando este es el producto perfecto! Una de las pantallas en 4K y la otra es full hd y todo funciona a las mil maravillas, sin duda lo recomiendo.

This is a great product! It works perfectly for me. I have a MacBook Pro with two external monitors connected via Display Port. I just connected everything up, and with no further action my monitors were running.

After moving to DisplayPort KVM switch Tesmart DKS202-M24 my old docking station Anker 777 stopped working (since it has HDMI ports and converting HDMI to DisplayPort is a very tricky process). But thankfully it has a passthrough Thunderbolt port so I decided to buy this adapter in order to connect my 2 DisplayPort screens to thin KVM Switch (and docking station and MacBook M1 Pro as well). Turns out it works pretty well, screens work flawlessly, DDC/CI, VRR and 144hz on 1440p screens, everything is supported. Adapter is quite warm, but not overheating at all. Helps organising wiring on a desk, since you can hide this dock beneath the table and put thick DisplayPort cables in it, so the only wire you'll have on a desk is a small USB Type-C. Wrote this review since there were lots of reviews regarding this adapter itself, but 0 regarding connecting this adapter to docking station (which already has 2xHDMI on board).

Dank der vorherigen Kommentare habe ich diesen Adapter bestellt, um einen alten HP Z27 5K Monitor an mein M1 Pro MacBook Pro anzuschließen. Der Monitor unterstützt nur Displayport 1.2 und für 5K benötigt man daher 2 Displayport Kabel. Der Adapter wandelt den Thunderbolt Anschluss auf 2 Displayport um, und der Monitor zeigt sauber 5K an.
