Final Fantasy VIII Remastered (PS4)

This game was a Christmas present for a grandmother, fast delivery. She loves the game she loves. The challenge overachi, just loves this game.

The storyline for FF8 has to be the best out of all the games. I really wish that square enix would have taken the time to make this a remake instead of remaster. It deserves more recognition. I keep searching for similar storylines in other games but nothing can compare to the nostalgia I feel with this game. It’s my favorite game of all time. I played the original on the ps1 when I was 10 yrs old and I couldn’t really understand the hidden meanings/ gems in the game at the time. Replaying it as an adult made me realize everything I missed in this game as a kid. It was so fun playing this the second time around as I never quite got past the outer space scene because this game is hard if you are a certain age. So happy to beat it 20 years later. I love this game so much I have it on the ps4, vita and switch.

I played this way back when on the PS1 and I am huge fan of final fantasy. I like to have physical media whenever possible and even though this was not released physically in the USA, since ps4/PS5 is not region locked I can still play it. And now I will have it forever. Would recommend for anyone who loves jrpgs
