Front Car Camera |360 Degree Eyeball CCD Waterproof Front Car Camera with Wide Angle

This camera is really small (.8" mounting width) and has a very small exposed lensing system. The ball part and retaining base are made out of aluminum and once popped into the drilled hole (hole-saw included) not much is left exposed. I mounted mine on the underside of the plastic license plate bracket since it was wide enough. The only hard part was running the wiring but that isn't something you usually do in without some planning. Connected this camera to a clip on rearview monitor mirror and used a tiny SPDT on-off-on switch from radio shack. Picked up another rear camera and can view front end or rear while parking. This model doesn't have any parking lines and provides a good 170 degree viewing angle. The night time visuals are good as well on this model since it uses CCD (Charged Coupling Device for capturing infrared spectrum) plus headlights/fog lights allow it to be usable even in total darkness.

Worked great & what helped with the install was that the connector is very small which made passing the cable through the little holes in my car quite easy.

I received a camera that matches the advertised picture. However, instead of a getting a 170 degree picture view as the text describes the camera I received had a very small view angle. When I finally measured the view angle it was only 90 degrees (45 degrees left and 45 degrees right). This is very deceptive advertising of a product. The product name has "360 Degree" but doesn't really say for what it is measuring; the specification says "170 degrees", but I measure only 90 degrees. It appears that "360 degrees" in the title likely describes the roundness of the design versus the view, because it is round. The "170 degrees" is either wishful thinking or somebody doesn't understand basic grade-school geometry. Other than the angle of the view window as totally misrepresented in the description, the camera does work but for my intended use is absolutely useless.

Where should I begin. I read the other reviews for the product and I knew I was taking a risk on getting the correct product but I gave it a try anyway. On the good side the camera was delivered very quickly. I got mine in less then 7 days. On the bad side the camera I received was not the one I purchased. I ordered the FRONT view camera. The box that it arrived in said REAR view on the box in 5 different locations. It did say FRONT in 1 location. I thought I was doomed, a 5 to 1 loss. However I hooked it up and I was surprised, It was a front cam with normal view. Picture quality was decent.Back to the wrong camera item. I ordered a flush mount camera, at least be looking at the picture I thought I was. Now we get to the ugly....... the camera is the one many other sites are selling. You know the one that looks like it has a cannon turret for a lens. The last thing I want on the front of my car is something that ugly.So what do I do now. The camera does work. Picture is not bad. It is front view. and ugly as hell :) Maybe is should get an uglier car!!!

this camera on the website is different from the one they ship to me! its more of a knock off quality! i couldnt return it cause i have open the package one month after. i cant even rotate the lens cause it has an special bolt which is very difficult to open. Who ever purchase this camera> i would like to wish you a very good luck!!!

I see the reviews and found that some fellows just got the rear view instead. I also worried about it. Anyway, it turns out to be unnecessary, I received just the front view items as I want, it's good. Which one I buy is from a company named Wildsell, it seems that it's the original one.

The camera arrived very quickly considering its point of origin China.Disregard the short RED wire that is attached to the RCA Cable.The hole made by the drill bit makes for the camera a very tight fit.Picture quality is very good.Very happy withe this camera.

Camera works great , drill that comes with it will not cut steal !
