Monster Beats Headphones Extension Cable 3.5 Extension Cable

I do not reccomend this cord for anyone. Clearly not a monster cord, as there was constant static which had me usually tweaking and twisitng the male component to my iphone. Further, within about 1 1/2 months of use the cord frayed and pulled out of the male component. I do not roll up the cord or pull out from the cable itself to make this happen. It is clearly a knock off and poor craftsmanship, but I should have expected nothing less for the price I suppose.

I recently ordered the Beats by Dre headphones onlline. They came and I realized the cord included is pretty short. I use my tv as a computer so I need the headphones to go kinda far. I looked everywhere online for some nice headphones extenders. These were the only ones i found that didn't look like a total rip off. I'm not quite sure if I believe they are actually monster headphones cables.....I think that's just put there so they can make more money. BUT overall they seem to work pretty well. I am using I think 3 connected together to form a long chain. No problems so far. My cats even play with them sometimes (bite and claw). The cords seem to be holding up really well. I would recommend this to a friend if he\she just needed some extender cords for using at home. I really have noting too negative to say about them....but I must include that I have only had them about 2 months or less. So there's still a chance they might crap out. Buy at your own risk. :) Luckily they are pretty cheep.

I bought this extension so when I'm sitting at my computer I can extend the reach of my headphones and my head doesn't have to be so close to my desk. I researched a few options, and settled on spending a little more for the Monster Beats ones because of the brand name (assuming better quality). Since I don't have any others to compare these to, I can't say whether spending the extra few bucks was really worth it.What I CAN tell you is that they work just fine, but are not overly impressive. I have had a few issues with the sound in one ear not coming through, but it is always easily resolved by turning the connection between the two cables a slight turn. Is that simply a product of the technology, or a limitation of the quality of the product? I can't tell you.But I can say for now I'm happy with my purchase. I've only owned it for about two weeks though, so I'll have to update further down the road.

Purchased this in September 2012, and it's May 2013 and they're still going strong! The audio is just as good as when I first bought it and unlike cheaper extensions one earphone hasn't randomly stopped working after a few weeks. Only minor downside is the male connection side where the wire connects to the port. A couple months ago it came a little loose so I thought it, like other cheap adapters, would eventually come apart but this has yet to happen. Occasionally the headphones are in a position where I have to fiddle with it to get the audio working right but it's very minimal and this only happens because I've dropped my headphones a couple time which put a lot of force on the male side. I don't exercise with this adapter so I can't comment on how long it will last in those situations but probably a while as long as you don't bend the wire into weird positions at the base or drop your device. For general use they will last a long time. All in all robust good quality headphone extension that will actually last. I definitely would and will purchase again!

This product is almost certainly NOT Monster. You can see the epoxy/glue holding pieces together at the ends of the cord.The cord holds its kinked shaped from packaging ( a high quality cable is maluable and does not maintain the shape it was packages in).All the monster cables I have purchased come in Monster packaging and are coiled. These came in a bag and were twist tied together).Save your money and invest in the actual product. Look for cables from Mediabridge (found on Amazon). They are high quality and don't cary name brand premium.

I bought this cord because I needed more length for my late-night practice sessions with my guitar. I'm sure I could've found cheaper ones that do what this does...but it does go well with the original Beats cord and I do have my Beats Pros on display next to my guitars so that was a consideration of mine.I don't think I would want to use these as my everyday cord. While it is thicker than your average earbud cord, I could see this wearing down much faster than the much larger & sturdy metal connections with locking mechanism cord provided with the Beats Pro.

This is one of two quality headphone extension cables I bought. This one is red and I use it to extend the mic. This is a nice slime low profile cable that works well. It is good quality and very attractive but not quite as rugged or as well insulated as the other one I bought.I use the other one for headphones and this one for mic extending the reach from my gaming headphones to my PC soundcard. My PC sits on the floor under my desk.I'm very happy with this purchase, especially when I got it at a great discount here at Amazon.

This is the worst cable I've ever purchased.Not only was one of the ends half broken out of the box (had to play with it to get the sound to come through both channels), but it literally made the audio signal I was putting through it about half as loud (even when I pushed the wires together so I could hear the sound in both channels).That simply shoudn't happen. I'm not convinced this is an actual Monster product.

Great quality, did the job for as long as I needed it too, has lasted for months now with no problems and there have been no sound issues such as crackling due to a bad connection.Overall, very good. Would recommend.

This did what I wanted it to do but there is a drop in the quality of sound. I would not recommend.

cheap and cheerful and works great as an extension to my headphone watching on my Ipad without disturbing anyone, good value

Bought 2 one worked the other didn't not difficult to test so why don't these people test them but you get what you pay for

took too long to arrive, and the quality was simply terrible... i have to play around with the plug until it works
