Helinox Protective Ground Sheet Accessory for Camp Chairs

Bought this for the chair zero highback (as recommended by the manufacturer) and it works great. The feet do not dig into the soil and it offers more balance on less than flat surfaces. It can be a little tricky to press the legs of the chair into the slots of this ground sheet, but is by no means difficult.It is lightweight and I can actually roll this up and pack it in the chairs stuff sack. It doesnt fold very small but it rolls up well enough to fit in the chairs stuff sack. I have the white chair, and the black compliments it well.

Love my Helinox chair. This is 100% necessary. Weighs nothing. Worth the few bucks to make an amazing chair perfect. Prevents the chair legs from digging into soft soil, sand or whatever, very stable.

I like Helinox products and this is a nice accessory to have for the beach or other soft ground.

I've had my helinox chair for several years. The plastic cap ends have busted and even before then, I found myself sinking suddenly in rocks or sand. I am VERY pleased with this lightweight addition to improve my sitting experience while backpacking. It's simple to set up and totally worth it. I like that it also provides a place to set my book beneath me while keeping it off the ground if it's wet. I'm so happy I purchased this instead of those heavy balls to go on the end or upgraded my chair. Cheap and light!

This footprint is the right one for the original Copper Spur UL3. It fits as promised.

I am an engineer. I just realized that this product not only prevents its leg from sinking into sand, it also distribute the load to all 4 legs by tying them together. For example, if you sit on the chair tilted, without this product only one or two legs are taking the load. With this product, the load is distributed to all 4 legs. I have chair zero and chair one, and I have this product (different sizes) for both chairs.

If you have a Chair Zero L and are wondering which ground sheet to buy, it uses the same ground sheet as the Chair One. I am not sure why this information is not available in more places, but it is on the packaging for the groundsheet. It also works great on my Chair Zero L.This is a great piece of gear to keep your chair from sinking in the sand or soft dirt while on an adventure. Some ultra-light enthusiasts will scoff at the idea of backpacking a chair, but my joy in having a good chair to sit in at the end of the day outweighs the minor additional weight.

Helinox chairs are great, but a few models have pointy plastic feet. Even in a grassy field where it isn't that wet the chair can still sink in. It isn't always a problem, but at the very least makes the chair sit lower, and at worst can get the chair stuck or cause you to lose the feet off the ends of the poles.The ground sheet is here to solve that problem! This item works great on any soft soil, gravel, or sand.The ground sheet makes the chair not only usable but much more stable on almost all loose surfaces and I tend to use it almost always except for the driest of ground.It is made well very well with the same quality you get with the Helinox chairs. It has 4 plastic pads that slip over the feet of your Helinox chair. Like the chair itself it can be a bit difficult to slip the groundsheet over the feet at first until you get the hang of it. It is rectangular so make sure you have it oriented correctly. It also has a strap that clips around the bottom support of your chair. This makes the whole thing even more snug and stable. You can see in the pictures that the wider plastic feet increase the surface area enough, but then the sheet itself adds even more to make it even more stable on sand or very loose dirt.The ground sheet fits nicely into the chair one bag, so no need to worry about finding a bigger bag. It even fits the helinox cup holder as well. These two items have made this fantastic chair into the absolute perfect camping chair for my needs.
