Jaya 100% Compostable Clear PLA Hinged Clamshell, 6x6-Inch, 240-Count Case

I purchased this product last year. At first, I was very please with it. I keep them handy at family functions or party and use them to send my guests home with some extra food. It's taken me about a year to get through the first sealed bag (80 count). I went to open the second bag and they were not like the first batch. The second bag had 80 warped cases. I cannot shut one no matter how hard I tried. You can visually see how warped the cases are. Its like they were melted on one corner but al the way down through the entire 80 count set. So at this point, I feel it was a waste because only half the product was usable.

The price is great but you get what you pay for...they are impossible to keep closed. They pop open or else don't close at all. I ended up tying some twine around them to make them stay closed.

Bought these to use for a fundraiser bake sale -- they are very sturdy and easy to open/close. This size easily accommodated large pieces of cake/pie. Knowing that the attendees at the fundraiser would throw these into trash cans, the fact thay they are compostable is clearly the way to go. Will buy them again for the next fundraiser.

The description clearly states the container is 8", the label on the packaging states that it is 8", however the containers were actually 6" square. They were the same exact size as the 6" containers we received from another vendor...This put is in a bind at our fundraiser as we did not have an adequate container for our product.

Great for my bakery! Sometimes they're a little tricky to close but I've never not been able to close one.

Purchased these for our Grab n Go Deli items such as small salads, wraps and cheeseburgers. Great product, nor flimsy and the containers lock shut well. Very pleased.

I use these clamshells to package microgreens, edible flowers and the like. I love the fact that they're biodegradable. My chef customers love this too. They open and close easily and securely.

These things are soooo difficult to snap shut! Like how hard should it be to close a hinged clamshell container? I say it shouldn't be hard at all. But with this one, you have to maneuver around the edges to lock it securely. It's not only me, but people who I gave these to, say the same way. I wish I could return this as now I have 230 pieces that I won't be using. It's good that it's compostable as the description says, but i'm really turned off with how hard it is to close these things.
