I purchased these Easter eggs for my grand-daughter who is 3 years old and when I received the package I immediately opened a few of the eggs to make sure of the contents, and as I did so I was reminded of the original Cracker Jack boxes with the prizes within (in the old days when the prizes were pretty darn nifty). I closed up the eggs again and tucked them away till Easter, easy-peasy. The plastic eggs were easy to open and the hinges didn't immediately break, the colors were bright and pretty and as for the prizes - I was extremely pleased because they were perfect for a quickie treat for a 3 or 4 year old child: toy compass, soft blue fish, a little magnifying glass that actually works, etc. The joy for a 3 year old is in the opening and discovery more than anything I believe.NOTE: Due to the small size of the gifts these eggs would not be an appropriate gift for a small child that automatically puts everything in their mouth due to choking hazard! I had planned on buying some eggs and stuffing them with little gifts I purchased separately; however, this was so much more convenient and easy (it is NOT a cinch to find tiny toys to fit into an egg!). Some naysayers will say these toys are not sturdy (give me a break, these are exactly what you would expect from an Easter egg!) but they are made for a surprising happy Easter opening discovery like I said, and it is nice to balance Eastern candy with something fun.

I picked this since I have a 3 year old and just recently had a baby and didn't want to deal with putting everything together like I usually do. Bad mistake. Next year it's back to small party favor toys in the eggs. I knew the toys weren't going to be great, but figured they would at least be somewhat interesting because they were new to her (and like someone else mentioned- the joy for a 3 yr old is just in opening the eggs). Unfortunately we didn't even get that excitement this year. Mostly just spinning tops and boring smiley face rings. I included a picture so you can see all the toys from 2 different packs of eggs. They could have done better. Lots of repeats. Did not get any pink crabs, magnifying glasses, or bracelets as pictured in the stock photo- I even ordered 2 packs and did not have any of those items. See uploaded picture for all of the toys included in our batch. I wouldn't recommend- go to the Dollar store and buy your own party favor trinkets and fill your own eggs. Way cheaper and the kids will like the toys more.

please please dont waste your time !!!! i have thrown away all the small things that came in these eggs and have to order different things to fill them the toys s are all cheap and really not worth it ! children cannot even play with those things for even 5 mins !! DONT BUY, 3/4 of the "toys" are the cheap plasttic things they call spinning tops , waste of time and money

I did not have time to return these or I would have. The toys were so chintzy it was laughable. I was able to augment the prizes inside with left over party favors. If not for that fact, I would have been scrambling to find something else suitable to put in these eggs out of embarrassment at the cheap quality for the Easter Egg Hunt at my daughter's school.

It was ok, but great when I need Easter treats quickly.

These toy filled eggs are great! I dont have time to customize the eggs with toys so these are very convenient.The toys are nice too! These did really well when I set them up in a basket and handed them out to all the kids as they were coming great product.Kids loved all the little toys inside.Very large, much bigger than I expected, All the kids loved them.Fun, non-candy novelty, Kids can easily re-close hinged eggs, best source I could find for this product Re-use for next year.Product arrived quickly. I gave these to my daughter as a birthday gift and she loved them. She played with the eggs the hall day, I reccomend.It was cute and different. My daughter loved it! There was a surprising amount of toys in the eggs too.

These are not worth the money. I knew I would be getting cheap stuff at $14, but these were SO cheap. That and there were only two tattoos, one dinosaur, and one sticker - there were seven cheap little spinning top things and five little string loop things that I guess are supposed to be rings? The tops had sharp edges so I actually just threw them away because I was worried the kids might cut themselves on them. I bought eggs filled with tattoos and stickers at CVS (16 for $4.99) that were a MUCH better value.
