The tool is basically fine. The darn Taurus G3C just doesn’t have any clearance to get it onto the head of the sightscrew which is the same as a Glock since they stopped using the slotted screw I guess.

I purchased this tool to mount new replacement front sights on my Glock pistols. Some of my older tritium sights are very dim and I am installing new Ameriglo sights.This tool worked perfectly for me. Reaching into the Glock slide is tough with any other type of tool. I liked that this tool has a reasonable handle on it so you can get a grip on it. Don’t over tighten the screw. I used a small drop of blue Loctite on the screw threads.Two of my older Glocks had staked front tritium sights and I had to drive them out of the slide using a pistol bench block and a small punch. I could then use this tool to install the new sights.This is a good product and I rated it 5 stars. It makes a tough job easy to do, don’t forget the blue Loctite.I like how these new sights work in the daylight and in the dark. I wouldn't have been able to install the sights without this tool.

This front sight tool is well made with sharp clean edges that will engage the screw and unlike some cheaper sight tools it does not seem like it will round out during use. The large handle also allows you to put enough torque on the screw while giving enough feedback so that you can stop before over-torquing the small front sight screw. However, the end of the tool is deep which can make using to tool to screw in the front sight screw a bit difficult. The screw can fall into the hollow at the front of the tool which can leave only a couple of threads showing on the screw to engage the front sight this can make starting harder. The bigger problem is if the screw falls into the hollow at an angle and gets stuck and you kinda have to wiggle it out or pluck it out with a tool. These issues are not huge and the tool works well.

There is a tiny bolt with a very low-profile hexagon-shaped head that holds your Glock's front sight on from the bottom. You may think to yourself that you have a pretty good selection of tools you have accumulated over the years, and that you probably have something that will work. Probably not. This thing worked flawlessly, was exactly the right size, and I could tell as I was using it that I had just spared myself some major heartache buy buying it. Note that even with this tool, it is kind of a pain to get the tiny bolt started on the threads. Also, I used a tiny drop of blue LocTite on the threads so the screw is less likely to back out.

This Squirrel Daddy front sight tool is a quality, well-made tool for removing or installing Glock front sight screws. I think it is especially well-suited to removing more stubborn front sight screws since it is a little bigger tool than most others and you can get more hand grip and, therefore, torque on the screw. I use a smaller tool for installing front sight screws to avoid overtightening and possibly breaking them. That's just my practice. I'm sure you can use this tool equally well for both purposes if you are careful.

Good Stuff, exactly as described! Well worth the money!! I tried a cheap ass 5 in 1 tool trying to save a little money, it was garbage compared to these Squirrel Daddy tools (plural) that I’ve purchased!! Buy Once Cry Once!! The quality is worth the extra money, BY FAR!! Would 110% recommend these for other users!!
