Wood Burning Kit Pyrography Kit for Adults and with 20 Woodburning and Soldering Tips, Stencil, Stand, Case

I bought this kit a couple months ago to try to do some woodburning on a deer skull that I have. I had zero issues! Worked great! It takes a really hot tool to burn into bone and I wasn’t sure if this one would get hot enough but it definitely did the trick! I did purchase a separate pair of heat proof gloves just to be safe and that helped to keep my hands comfortable. Overall I’d give this 5 stars!

I knew I wasn't getting the best product in the market, and that I couldn't expect greatness. However the low quality of this was worse than I expected. I frequently had to use pliers to tighten the attachment because it had gotten loose and was almost about to fall off! Some other cons:-no on and off button-single temp-short cable (making it unstable to put on any table)-general low quality-red part gets EXTREMELY hotOverall it works, it'll get the job done, but it won't make it easy.

I was asked to give a review even though I will not be using the product. I did open it to make sure all the parts were there so my review will be strictly based on that. The packaging was a little cheap, but the actual item came with a satisfying variety of burning tips to use. I bought this for someone else and I think they will enjoy the different options to use this item. My only real concern was the actual tool itself. The handle portion was made out of hard plastic. I felt like if I dropped it, it might break? I was expecting a more hefty handle with some weight to it but it’s rather light.Again I didn’t use the product this was only based on first impressions. I have a good feeling about the device. I think the person I’m gifting it too will enjoy it.

The case is perfect with having separate places for each tip. The product works perfectly! Tips are easy to change and love the multiple options. Reading other reviews, I guess people don't understand that something that burns wood, can burn your hands. Using the provided finger tip protectors and life is great. Heats up in about a minute. Don't screw the tips on with superman strength and they can easily be changed. Will buy again!!

I attempted to switch out tips and the darn tool wasn't budging. I tried the lefty loosy, righty tighty trick too, and just when I thought the tip was coming off, the handle detached from the top of the tool and stopped heating. I've literally had the dang thing for a day and it's already going in the trash. Such a shame since I was super excited to start on what I had in mind that required the wood burning tool.

I received my wood burning kit a few days ago but have not had a chance to use it yet. I am looking forward to my first experience and when it happens, I will definitely write a review. The kit itself looks great and I'm looking forward to trying it out

I got this because I loved the idea of making handmade signs with it. I bought this a year and a half ago and have used it a handful of times. And while it got the job done, it certainly does not make it easy. First, the tool gets EXTREMELY hot. So hot it melted the plastic handle. The finger grips are a joke. I used an Ove Glove to protect my hand and it was still too hot, I had to take many brakes so my hand doesn't get fried. Second, during the first use one of the tips I tried bent and made it nearly impossible to take out. I finally was able to get it off with a pair of pliers. This only added to how uncomfortable it was to use because you could only use it at a certain angle. (It bent the inside of where it screws in, not just the tip itself) I would say I have used this maybe 5 times? (Would use more if it was less difficult). But I just attempted to use it again and while trying to change out the tip, the base that screws in broke off so now I cannot use it at all.... I guess it was ok for the price I paid, but still disappointing that it was not easier to use and now not usable at all!

This was a great purchase, not too expensive but came with a ton of useful tools inside! It works great and I’ve never had an issue with it. Over all very happy with this purchase!
