Why I Fell in Love With Her in The First Place
This album really reminds me of why I fell in love with Jewel in the first place. I have no complaints about the track listing. All the hits are here although a few other not so commercial hits could've been added or maybe some acoustic songs from her MTV Unplugged gig which has yet to be released. I do have one complaint that I have with all greatest hits packages and thats the actual booklet. This booklet just consists of lyrics which have all been included in all her previous cd booklets. A nicer retrospect with chart positions and original release dates would've been nicer. Or pictures throughout her career...idk someting other than lyrics. Boring and probably cost effective for the record label but I digress. The new songs are awesome and so 90s Jewel in my opinion. Jewel, back when she was saying something important, back when her songs had great melodies, and memorable choruses. Jewel before she went country and started singing lullabies. Lets be honest a lot of people probably stopped listening at that point. I want original Jewel and these new recordings are in my opinion original Jewel. If the New song Two Hearts Breaking is any indication of whats to come from this woman my hopes are extremely high. I hope Jewel leaves the country genre....Her album 0304, which everyone panned is in my opinion better than her country albums. I would just like to say welcome back Jewel. And Kelly Clarkson on Foolish Games in pure genious. Thier voices are beautiful together...

this is like my perfect Jewel playlist
I have every Jewel album except the kids ones LOL. A lot of Jewel's material is perfect for quiet listening with a focus on finding your own meanings in the lyrics. This album is more for the car when you just want to sing along and have fun. With the huge range of material available, sure there could have been some other songs included but not of the ones that are there should have been left off so unless she was prepared to have like a 30 track CD this one is the perfect compromise.Highly recommended for any Jewel fan. Not a great way for someone just finding Jewel to get a real appreciation of her music because this is a Hits album and much of her material is not radio playlist material but something personal and intimate between singer and listener.

Love!
This cd has a new Jewel song, two of the songs done with duets with other people, versions of the songs that are found on the radio that I love and are not found on the original cds, and a great new Jupiter remix. I would definitly buy this even if you are not a big Jewel fan like me because it is cheaper than downloading on itunes, you have a nice set of wonderful Jewel songs and if you have a kindle this cd is automatically put on your cloud. High recommendation! :)

Wonderful!
Jewel is a multi-talented songwriter and singer, who uses her voice like a musical instrument, varying its sound several ways in a single song. Her voice is full of emotion that can lift you to the heights or bring tears to your eyes. She can sound like a different person in some songs. I didn't know that so many of the songs I've heard on the radio were by her. Most of the songs on this CD are quite beautiful.

What I expected
I wanted to add Jewel to my collection since she has quite a few good songs, but most of her albums did not have enough good songs to justify the purchase. The album fit the bill.

Typically includes "new" songs, in this case duets, but it a great "Best Of" nevertheless!
Warning! I am a huge Jewel fan from way back.....Very good choice of songs, overall re-takes of older songs are improved....wonderful collections.Jewel says in the album notes that we could have put together a "greatest hits" using "iTunes"but thanks us for simply purchasing this collection. It was worth every penny; simply a great collection, bar none.Anyone who has never seen or followed Jewel should purchase this CD; you will not regret it!

Wonderfully lyrical and enticing to the ear
Great album! Love this type of fusion mix blend combining pop, country, & folk music into one package; wonderfully lyrical and enticing to the ear as relaxing but with a stimulating quality that makes you look forward to the next song. Bought this with the Sara Mclachlan album, similar quality therefore almost the same review. Love it and all of the songs are wonderful, which is rare to find on a single CD.

Great Songs - Occasional Poor Audio Quality
I love Jewel and I love the songs on this disc. I listen to my music on my modified T50RP headphones, which are very sensitive, so flaws in the audio are more noticeable. Most CDs I buy sound perfect, such as Spirit which had excellent audio quality. On this disc there are a few songs that sound like 128kbps MP3 files. The distortion and crackling is noticeable to me. On speakers it generally sounds fine, but on high end headphones some songs sound static-y, which I do a lot of my listening on. Overall I'm still happy with the purchase.
