Impressive customer service earned them another chance
I'm rewriting my review because this company deserves a second look. We purchased two drums for our Brother printer; the first one squeaked so loud the whole floor could hear it, but the second just made a small amount of working noise that we could live with and the printing is OK so far. I complained about the first one in my original review, and the company approached me through an email, apologized for the defective unit, and refunded our money before I even had gotten around to contacting them about the problem. We don't see much of that kind of customer service these days, do we? Anyone willing to go the extra mile like that deserves a second chance to prove they normally make a quality product at a reasonable price, so we are buying from them again to see if the defective drum really was a fluke. If the new ones work well, I will update my review and rating accordingly.Stay tuned ...

Tried to maintain my Brother MFC-L2700DW
Tough to grade this product. I absolutely love my Brother MFC-L2700DW. Plus I had plenty of toner left. So I wanted to find a happy medium in overall value. Buying a brand new authentic Brother DR630 drum made absolutely NO sense at its cost versus the cost of a brand new printer. So I purchased this model in hopes of making my printer last. And technically it has lasted. BUT, virtually every time I send the first print of the day to the printer it comes out mangled and sometimes causes a jam. The obvious problem with the wasted paper is the wasted money on the paper and the toner. I put up with this for over a year. I then decided to research an authentic Brother DR630 drum, but NOT at the absurd high-end retail cost. It behaves the same way as this off-brand model does. Time to buy a new printer when the toner runs out.

update - amazing customer service!
Not recognized by the printerupdate:First I gave one star, but Arthur IMMEDIATELY sent a replacement - as in, we didn't even have much down time! The brother mfc L2740dw is a problem with resets, and the second drum did not work either. If you have this problem, try this with the front cove open Press (Cancel) to interrupt the error. Press (Settings) > All Settings > Machine Info. > Parts Life. Press and hold # until the LCD message changes. Press Drum. Press Yes. Press (Home).The bottom line is that Arthur imaging has proven themselves a really helpful partner in working with this ornery Brother printer, and that you can trust them to make it right no matter what. You literally can't lose giving them a try.

It's a very acceptable quality product
This drum kit worked perfectly regarding getting quality printing back after the original started failing. It does not enters the chamber where it is supposed to fit as smoothly as the original but after a few tries you get a hold on how to properly put it in. I'm pleased with the build quality tho, and the print quality went back to 100% with this product.

Doesn't work
I purchased the drum for a Brother MFC-L2700DW laser printer. The printer said I needed to replace the drum. After replacing the drum, the printer continues to show that I need to "replace the printer." Because of this, I get an error message when trying to print. Stick with the original equipment.

Very good value althougha little noisy
This drum is an excellent value for the money and you get more than you pay for here although it is a little noiser than the brother drums, therefore the 4 stars. But I will definitely be a repeat customer in the future!

Problems!!
I've been buying Arthur toner cartridges for a few years with no problems. This is the first time I bought a drum unit compatible with the TN660 cartridge that I always buy. The drum unit and the toner cartridge don't mate well and when printing the cartridge flops around and makes a banging noise. Very disappointed. :-(

You can trust them
This is the best drum unit. I had an issue and I thought it was the drum's fault but I followed some reset instructions and it worked! Still I blame brother for making things so complicated with their products. Why so i need to do a reset? And you know what's funny? I called then to ask for help and they just told me I have to buy their expensive drum unit and that's the only way it's going to work. So thanks Arthur imaging customer service for helping me out
