Cracked my iPhone 5C from playing basketball and slipping out of my pocket, dropping it onto hard cement and shattering the whole screen. Bought this screen as a replacement, and it was an excellent, decently priced replacement. Comes with all the neccesary tools and also some extra goodies, including a screen protector and a keyring holder. The LCD portion of the screen, as in the part you touch, is a little smaller than the original Apple screen but it is such a small difference that it does not really make a difference to me. The quality of the screen itself, as in colors/lights/display is just as good as original. The screen is perfectly responsive and I've had the new screen for a little over 2 months now and it's still going strong. I have a screen protector over it and despite dropping it (with a brand new, protective case, of course,) it is still flawless.I actually bought this and had someone else fix the screen for me with this product, and they told me that this is one of the better replacements because it comes with all the proper tools, so I'd definitely recommend it for anyone looking to replace their 5C screens.

I did it! A tiny but very heavy object landed right on my "on" button and shattered my screen. The glass on the on button looked like white powder it was so fine. I really thought my phone was gone, but at $200 to "fix it" or $500 for a replacement, I decided to give this a try. Well done! This kit comes with everything you need--video explanation with a camera so close to the demonstrator's hands that you can actually see what he's doing, a specific accurate diagram of everything inside your phone, and every tool you need in order to do the job. So for $25 and an hour's work, I got my phone back, unlike a friend whose screen was just broken instead of shattered like mine, and he paid $500 for a new phone. But this isn't for you if you are the kind of person who doesn't like to read or listen or follow directions--just go get another phone. BUT if you are willing to read and listen and do one step at a time, you can do this and save yourself a lot of money. I did mine a few months ago, and it's like new. I'm so glad this product has been made available.

I rarely leave reviews but felt I needed to on this item. First, replacing this screen is no easy task. This is not the fault of the product, just they way it is made. I have never seen such small screws in my life. I battled this thing for over an hour before I was finally able to get everything put back together properly. The instructions provided are not very detailed, better to go on to YouTube if you are up for the challenge. I started it up, everything worked properly, thought... excellent, saved buying a new phone. Well, that lasted for 6 days. Everything was working and then randomly half the screen went out. I gave the product the benefit of the doubt, thought maybe it was the way I put it together, pinched wire or something. Took it all apart again, examined everything, put it back together as carefully as possible.... nope, half screen still doesn't work. Long story short, if you feel getting an extra week out of your phone and don't mind sacrificing a fair amount of time is worth $30 then go for it. If you'd rather just save yourself the time and frustration, only to have to start over a week later... best to look at other options.

This product is FANTASTIC!! I purchased for my daughter who is a tad clumsy and had broken the second screen on her iphone 5c. I decided to go the route of trying to replace this screen myself because the Apple Store is a little pricey.. I am so glad i went with this kit.. The tools provided are perfect for what you need to do. Do yourself a favor and go to the youtube video provided on the paper instructions.. it is WAY easier to follow than the tiny print.It took myself and my husband about 18 mins to install the new screen and the phone works perfect again!! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive way to fix their screen!

I bought the HTECHY LCD Display Digitizer Touch Screen replacement because my kid iPhone 5C screen was cracked. This 5C replacement packaging includes all tools needed to perform the repair. It also comes with instructions with OR code for youTube video. The instructions are OK and video is good except the video indicates that you must remove the clear plastic camera holder and proximity holder. You don't have to remove these parts from the old board since the replacement board has these parts. In addition, it includes a magnetized board with picture to keep track where all the screws were removed so that you don't make any mistake when you need re-assemble all the screws.I was able to replace my kid iPhone 5C screen, but it will take about 45 mins to perform this task since. The most difficult task was to re-assemble the shield holder for the camera and earpiece. Overall, the screen and touch screen work fine. It did not have any dead pixels.Updated: After 30 days, the screen went blank. I re-opened and re-seated the connectors but the screen does not work. I contacted HTECHY and they quickly responded. Working with them to get a refund or replacement part.

It was easy to install with the provided guide even with the jacked up English. I didn't bother watching the YouTube video.Taking off one star because the phillips screwdriver it came with stripped when I got down to about 5 screws left out of what felt like 100 tiny screws total. That left me cursing for about half an hour until I was lucky enough to find the correct sized phillips in my toolbox. For most other people, you'd basically be screwed!Taking off another star because it comes with a bunch of garbage and excess packaging that's going straight to the landfill. I never needed to use the blue guitar pick looking things and I have no idea what the two keychains are for.
