Absolutely Perfect!
I use both Tresiba and Humalog insulin pens, and have found that these little wallets are perfect for everyday as well as travel. I have a black one for the Tresiba and a green one for the Humalog so it's easy to keep them separate. They are also the perfect size for carrying in my purse when I'm on the road for the day. Keeps the pen safe and secure, and it holds several pen needles as well. Excellent Product!

This case is nearly perfect for my needs.
This case is nearly perfect for my needs.I LOVE the green color but of course that's just personal taste. It fits my Novolog fast acting pre-filled pen easily. The sleeve in the case for the pen is a tad bit small to store the long acting Levimer pen, which is bulkier, but that's not really why I got it. Since I only dose that once in the PM I don't really need to carry it around. It tends to stay at home-base (home or hotel) and the fast acting insulin is what really needs to be carried around. Still, the Levimer pen WILL actually fit in this case either in the sleeve (it's tight fit but it fits), or even along-side the sleeve in ADDITION to my Novolog so I could actually carry both if I really wanted to.I agree with reviews that say the case could include more needle holders. Really, 5 needles is enough for me for a single day (breakfast, lunch, dinner, plus a couple for spares and corrections or if I wanted for the long acting basal pen). A single day is what I'm going for because I can usually re-fill the case in the evening or morning back at home-base, so it's sufficient. However, I just think the case could easily support several more needles with no increase in overall size at all.Dittibags, if you're listening; I think if you were to sew in a slightly longer strip of elastic you could house two more needle spaces on either side. At least one. Also, if you were to sew in another elastic band on top of the existing one, but off-set the openings, a person could store twice the number of needles by placing them in an alternating direction (tip up/tip down). Kind of like this: ^V^V^V^.I'm pretty sure it's not leather, I think it's just vinyl. In the places where you can see the back of the material it has the fabric type backing of vinyl. But, it doesn't hurt it much functionally. However; I think it would be slightly more durable if real leather were used at least for the exterior of the case so this IS another minor point against. The case doesn't have any real insulation, which is as it was intended and fine because most of the pen insulin these days is safe up to over 80 degrees for the in-use pen, but the light padding is probably enough to insulate from minor temperature swings which is another plus. The pens themselves are fairly durable when capped even with no case. I've done some destructive testing vs. the concrete garage floor with my used and empty ones just to understand what they can take :-) I can say that the pens themselves with no case can take a beating. The minor "shock protection" afforded by this case is enough to help out with typical drops and rough handling though. Most importantly, the case just keeps everything together and organized rather than having things just loose in a backpack or pocket and keeps it all tidy without pocket lint or other fluff attacking it.So, in summary I think this is the best case available for storing in-use fast acting insulin pens with concomitant supplies for a day out. I'm giving it 4 stars. It would get 5 stars from me if it could hold a few more pen needles and if the exterior of the case were made of real leather or something slightly more durable than the basic vinyl.

Poor Materials and Workmanship
This pen wallet is made of cheap materials - the leatherette was already torn on the inside when I received it and seemed like it would basically disintegrate upon regular use, and the elastic bands that hold pen needles were bleached white in places and seemed on the verge of dry rotting. The workmanship was equally shoddy - there were extra needle holes near the stitching that were big enough to undermine the lasting integrity of the materials. The only good thing about this purchase was that the return process was easy and the refund was swift.

Nice material and handy storage inside, but misleading product color
The material is soft and supple and the compartments inside are thoughtfully configured. My main source of disappointment is the color. I was excited when I saw that this came in a bright, cheerful green color; however, when it arrived it's much more of a dull, darker green - the product photo is completely inaccurate.Given that it will cost $5 in return shipping to exchange for the black, it doesn't seem worth it, but I'd advise against getting the green. It doesn't at all resemble the color in the picture and is really unattractive.

Great and keeps things neat.
Holds pen and tips great. I use it for my Lantus and it fits just right. Just right for a 5 day trip. Now my hubby wants one too.

Inside Leather Flaking
I love this case, but I am not happy that the leather interior started flaking off from the moment I received it. What is strange is that the outside looks great, but the inside is all torn up after using it for just 5 days. I am very disappointed as this was exactly what I was looking for when it came to a case to carry my insulin and supplies with me when I went out.

This pretty green case works well as my insulin injection supply ...
This pretty green case works well as my insulin injection supply case. It holds everything I need for my daily shots. I refill it daily. I put both of my pens, alcohol wipes and sliding scale inside. Perfect!

Nice Lightweight Case
It must be noted that this case does not have room for coolant packs and is not a "hard" case. Having said that, I like the case because of its light weight and size. This cases replaces an identical one that I lost and I am very happy with both cases as long as you don"t expect a hard case and/or a "cool case".
