Needs further testing - IP65 issues
I purchased the unit in March of 2016 and was extremely pleased with the brightness and distance (approximately 35 feet) at which the motion sensor was able to be triggered. After about two months this distance was reduced by about 10 feet. While this was odd and a bit concerning it wasn’t enough to justify asking for a new unit. As of last week (13-August-2017) and the unit no longer works. I contacted Neon Mart to see what my warranty options were and was promptly responded to within 24 hours. The representative asked, “Was there any special phenomenon when the motion sensor light stopped working like flicker or dim?” in addition to asking if I wanted a refund or a replacement. I answered their question and asked for a refund as I have already replaced the unit with another that I purchased at a local home improvement store.Given the number of issues that people have had with these and other solar motion sensor lights I’m inclined to believe that the IP65 rating is not accurate and that this unit would be better suited for an area away from the elements (like a garage) that would someone to easily route the wiring and solar cell outside.I’ve given this item 3 stars as a result of my initial experience with the unit and Neon Mart’s excellent no haggle warranty replacement/refund policy.

Almost great. I'd pick 4.5 stars if one half stars were allowed in the feedback.
This solar light seems to work fine. It is not very bright, but given its solar, that is to be expected. Mine arrived with a dent in the motion sensor panel, but it still seems to function fine so I kept it. My only complaint is that mounting the unit is a bit challenging. To mount the unit, you have to completely remove the mounting bracket in order to be able to screw it to a wall. You must unscrewing two screws with lock washers and nuts which are under the light. The nuts are behind a plastic tab. After mounting the bracket, and while holding the light in place, you then have to position the washer and nut while you insert the screw. It takes quit a feat of dexterity.I suggest re-engineering the light so the bracket can be screwed into a wall without needing to be removed from the light. Alternately, capturing the bracket nuts as part of the housing would prevent you from having to hold them in place when re-inserting the the mounting bracket screws.Otherwise the light seems to be well made, durable and functional.

9-24-2017 update - For my rainforest home
**Update** Lights up the carport really well. We’ve been using it because this area has no lighting. We’ve had 3 days of rain and it still works even out in the open (see pictures). We have the solar portion on the top of a roof where it gets plenty of sunlight. Setting is very important for solar lights to work with best results. I find most solar/electronic bad reviews are due to human error (sometimes my own even) and the rest tend to be the occasional defects.Friday I leave to spend a few weeks in my home in Panama and I've been stocking up on many things I need there that is hard to find - mainly solar products. In Panama, electricity is extremely expensive. Just having regular lights on at night while I'm in the USA is costing me around $50-70 a month to protect an empty house. This light will be used for the back of the house which I have 3 sliding glass doors.I will follow up from time to time with updates on how well they last. I also have security cameras so can tell if they stay lit.

I have a number of the smaller solar lights on the railings of the decks and they work fine, but I needed something to light on
My home is a two story octagon with decking and stairs on six sides. I have a number of the smaller solar lights on the railings of the decks and they work fine, but I needed something to light on the patio under the main, large deck at the rear of the house. It gets quite dark at night there and the light switches for the electric lights are inside on the first floor. Since our bedroom is on the second floor, whenever I needed to go downstairs to check on any noises (we get lots of critters) I'd either have to go through the entire house to turn the lights on or scrounge around for a flashlight. Now, I can just go out on the deck and my railing lights go on to light my way to the steps and when I get half way down the LE light turns on below. After I've walked around ten feet toward the other end, another one of them goes on, so I don't have to walk at all in the dark. The two lights are enough to amply light over 30' of patio.

Not bad. Just not great.
I have several solar lights of another brand. They cost a couple dollars more but are much easier to mount and have better construction. Overall. They seem to work ok. Update. Tested all 3 today. I hadn't read the instructions, (what man does?). There is a push button switch on the back of the panel that turns these lights on and off. None were "on". Switched all 3 and only 2 came on. I'll wait to test the other again in a day or two. So far it's nots working. The other 2 are working and just as bright as my other brand lights. Still 3 stars. Tested again the 3rd light and it will not work at all. I replaced it with another brand.

Great product. We use it for our barn outside ...
Great product. We use it for our barn outside and it has held up through the current New England winter so far. Installation was simple and the light is good and bright. The only issue we had was knowing whether it was on or off, the control switches on the panel are less than clear. There is also an excess of wire for what we needed and the light offers no storage for the leftover. The Light is perfect for what we needed and a great price for the amount of light and dependability we have had.

Solar Motion Sensor Light 60 Leds and 2 Watts panel - by Lighting EVER
The solar panel has a power of 2 watts with an efficiency of transforming light into energy of 17%. As standard in the industry, this performance is measured by an illumination of 1000 watts per square meter but on a cloudy afternoon you might get only 100 watts of sun power per square meter and the surface of the panel is only 140 square centimeters. The panel has to charge a lithium battery of 3.7 V and 2000mAh.The attachments are flimsy and no screw or plugs are provided. It took me an hour work to get the panel and the light in place. I had to stabilize the inclination of the light with duct tape.I put the light with the motion detector at a height of 3.2 meters. When approaching, it starts to trigger at a distance of 6.5 meters where it produced a light of 1.7 Lux. Closer by at 3 meters from the wall I measured 5.6 Lux. My whole front yard is so comfortably illuminated and that might scare off unwelcome visitors. The detector also works sideways when someone approaches my neighbors front yard. The light stays on for 4 minutes. So I am very pleased with the performance. Since It only has to work occasionally, it will certainly continue to work during the summer months without discharging completely, but I have my doubts for the winter months as the panel is very small.

Even better than expected!
This is the first solar light I have purchased, so I did a lot of research before choosing this one. We needed a light that would only come on when it detected motion, to light up an outside patio area between the shed and an outbuilding. I was a bit dubious, as it seemed pretty cheap compared to similar lights available, but when I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised at the overall build quality. It is solid and well constructed, with the light being made of mostly metal parts, on an adjustable bracket, and the sensor can be moved up and down or side to side so it can be positioned where we need it. One thing to note is that you have to unscrew the mounting bracket from the body of the light to be able to screw it to the wall, then reattach the light to the bracket. However this was a simple enough job, and easier than it first appeared to be.The sensor has adjustment knobs so you can customise the sensitivity and range of the sensor and a third to adjust the length of time that the light stays on after you move out of range, which can be varied from approx 30 seconds to a couple of minutes. In terms of range, where we have it is only about 3 metres wide so I am unable to say what the maximum is. So far, none of the wildlife here (foxes, badgers etc) have triggered the sensor, which is good. The amount of light it gives out is surprisingly good for a solar light. OK it's not as bright as a mains light, but gives out more than enough light to work well as a security light and so we can find our way in the dark. The solar panel comes with a mounting plate and a stake, so you have options of where to put it. The panel housing is plastic, but seems robust, and is bigger than other panels I have seen for similar lights in neighbours gardens. The cable has a waterproof connector and is a good length, although I wouldn't have minded it being longer to place it further down the garden, as the area the light is used in is in shade at all times.I'm now looking for a shed light and a porch light, and this has been so good I may just buy a couple more of them, rather than take a chance on more expensive lights that might not do such a good job. I've only been using it a few weeks so I will update this review when I've had it a bit longer.

Amazing customer service
Living high up on a hill and in the fog we have the odds stacked against us for solar but gave these lights a go. They are great but didn't work for us. The customer service was fantastic and they issued a full refund when things didn't work out just right. We live in the extremes so hope they're right for you

Unreliable
Worked fine for a few days then packed up.The solar panel was placed facing south-west and got plenty of sun.I brought it indoors ready to return - I left it in a little used room and when I entered the room after dark, the LEDcame on!I then put it back outside but despite the panel again facing bright sun, the light could not be triggered to switch onat night.
