Great watch...just what I wanted for a super price!
Hello all! Ok...so I had been looking hard at the Casio Mudmaster 1A3...but at $450+...that's a lot of scratch to drop. I have an Omega Seamaster Professional Chronograph...but I bought that maybe 16ish years ago, and I love it and generally do like watches, but my days of spending that kind of money for a watch seem to be over. I just don't have the desire to spend that type of money on possessions like I used to. Pay for experiences...not possessions. Having said all of that...I had to get my Omega fixed around a year ago and so that took 5 monthsish? I then started wearing an old Timex Triathlon watch from the early 2000's with fast wrap Velcro band. I looked like I just stepped out of the late 90's with that on. It kept time...but the Velcro band wore out, and I had to scour the seedy underbelly of the internet for another one of those...and then when I found it, I really didn't want to keep wearing that every day and wear out another band on a watch I really should just be using for working out...not work, going out, etc. Somehow....no idea how...I found this watch on Amazon. And for 17 bucks otd (out the door)...it's tough to go wrong with it. Bottom line is: I really like it. I actually can't believe how much I do like it. I've had if for two weeks...and It's the perfect watch for me....and if I only get a year out of it...it's totally worth it. If you want to nitpick negatives, the rubbery band that holds the physical watch band slides away from the end of the actual band...so that might bother some people? I set it to the official U.S. Time (I'm that guy)...and a week later it was a minute fast....and that was the digital portion I set. But better a minute fast than slow. The black and white is a great look. It can be a bit challenging to see the "negative display" (watch nerds correct me if this is wrong)....which is the white numbering/lettering on black digital display. I'm under overhead lights inside most days....and I can generally see it pretty easily. I also have the eyes of a mongoose...so seeing things isn't an issue for me. But the green display works perfectly at night. The physical face is almost like a carbon fibre pattern...not smooth...which is a nice little unexpected touch. I mean it's just a perfect watch for me...and if I still love it a year from now, I might pull the trigger on a Casio Mudmaster...but for a watch to put my toe in the big Casio G-Shock water....it's awesome and I'm glad I found it, ordered it, and have it. The pictures tend to make it look a little cheesier and cheaper than it looks in real life. The black and white design of the watch make it look classic and not gaudy...functional cool and not try-hard if that makes any sense. Big watch to be sure...but doesn't shout out to look at me. You kinda look like you know something other people don't know when you wear this watch. Especially the fact it looks like an expensive watch at only 17 bones...that's no joke. Hope this review helps!

It's tough, it's heavy, it's big, it's cheap. It's a good watch for a good price. And it looks like a beast.
Wow, where do I begin? This watch is a beast! I LOVE it! People at work ask me all the time if this is some kind of new fitbit or a USB data watch. I have to tell them, "Nope. It's just a watch". And they're like "But... it's so big!" and I have to laugh and tell them, "Yeah, it is!". Because, IT IS! This watch is huge and heavy. Make no mistake, if you have skinny arms, it's gonna look like a spare tire is strapped to your wrist. This is a beefy, cyber-tech-looking, militaristic-feeling, ruggedy-type watch. Seriously, to me, it looks like something from some kind of futuristic sci-fi armor division. It's got a big ol' button that makes it light up (actually, two buttons for light - one on the upper left, and the big one) and other buttons for starting and resetting the stop-watch and changing the mode. But, really, you ain't wanting this watch for the stop-watch capabilities. You're wanting it because it's a tough-looking piece of machinery and you want it on your wrist! The quality, as far as I'm concerned, is above par with what your paying. I mean, don't expect Rolex-quality. But this ain't a cheap piece of plastic! Well, it is cheap. And it's plastic. But it's good quality! You know what I'm saying! If you like how this looks, get it. It's tough, it's heavy, it's big, it's cheap.

Nice but big and LED's impossible to read unless lit up.
Watch is bigger than I thought it would be. I was looking for a bigger watch, but this is even bigger than I anticipated. With the four side protrusions, it's a bit more than I wanted but no fault of the seller. I revived exactly what I ordered. I don't hate it. I will still wear it. The only other gripe I have is that the LED numbers are very hard to read (Especially outside in the sun) unless and until you press the light button. Then they light up bright green. I do wish there was a way to make them come on maybe by lifting or flicking your wrist. That would be cool so that you don't have to use two hands to check the date or time, which is hard while riding a motorcycle. Not impossible but inconvenient. Given this is an inexpensive watch, I don't think one can ask for too much though. It keeps good time.

You will NEVER finda better watch for anything close to what this costs, it's a STEAL!!
This is absolutely the very best watch you will ever buy for the money. It makes my little Casio that was even more look sick next to now and fit for a young kid, not an adult. That can not be said about this watch. It is Awesome, light, easy to read and you forget it's on your wrist but has every feature you could ask for the only recommendation I would have is better directions but it is NOT hard to figure out and the directions supplied are adequate. This is TRULY a 5 Star Watch and they could have charged 4 times what they are selling for and I still would have nought it. It is impressive, so easy to wear and I have small wrist but it feels and looks great. I can't say enough good things about it except that it is probably the BEST BUY for a Watch on Amazon.com or any other site. Best watch I ever bought and only my Luminox (which I payed over $200 for) is comparable and that is getting dusty because I wear this watch every day. It has everything you need and keeps great time with an easy to see day date 24hour feature and an alarm if you want to use it. As I said you can spend 4 or 5 times more and get a lot less. This watch truly deserves 5 Stars!
