Is there coffe cups to match this set?

Coffee cups do not come with the set. I have not seen any cups anywhere that would go with the set.

How scratch and chip resistant is this set? I see one comment only saying they do scratch but no one else has mentioned this.

I bought the set because I loved the pattern and my children have recently relocated home to California. I was hesitant because I grew up with practical, but plain, melmac? dishes. I love the pattern I saw on amazon.com. I'm near the ocean and it makes me smile to have dishes in a beautiful color and pattern that are child proof and appeal to adults. I'm a "dishes" person and I've never been happier, both aesthetically and practically. Thus far, with 4 grandchildren under 8 years old, 4 adults and daily use, I've not noticed scratches or chips so I'd say they have exceeded my expectations. I still smile when I use them.
