How long does a charge last?

I use it probably 3 times a day for maybe 3 seconds each time and it lasts about 2 weeks.

Compared with similar lighters of other brands, how is this lighter?

Over 3 months of daily use and the lighter still works! I have used at least 4 other similar lighters and they were all terrible. Few lasted more than a week (or 2 recharges). One never worked and returning it got me a replacement that worked three times and never recharged. I have noticed that you should clean it regularly - weekly or so - to get rid of any carbon build up. But this was simple using a small brush (I wish they included one but I used an old toothbrush). So far, I am impressed. It does need recharging every few days - so if you want for an extended camping trip it would likely need a recharge at some point. Nevertheless, it is reliable and works as advertised after months of daily use.

The lighter is great, battery last me all week (5 days) was on the last light on the battery indicator. Stayed lit long enough to light up a cigarette. I bought a second one because I thought I lost the first. Not returning it.

This lighter really works. It looks cool and charges really quickly. It is so light weight and has a rubbery, no slip feeling to it. There is no stun gun like noise. Literally, this one doesn’t make a sound and it lights evenly and quickly. The value for the money on this is epic. No more fuel! Buy several, once you see how cool one is you will want more.
