Sturdy construction
Sturdy construction. Pleasant looking, not cheap.I purchased additional tubes to fill the "attic". And bees have already taken up residence in both sections.

SCEWS WERE PUT IN CROOKED AND WAY TO MUCH MONEY FOR THE WAY IT WAS PUT TOGETHER.
The price was way to high for the product that was sloppy put together.

The pretty picture in the ad is NOT what you will receive
The photo in the display shows an attractive, well constructed bee house. NOT what you receive.The actual house that was shipped looked like it had been screwed together with a jack hammer. The screws on the roof and sides were sunk deep into the wood, and no effort had been made to even smooth off the splinters. Mine arrived with a huge crack running from the edge of the roof halfway across it...it was large enough for water to enter the bee house.Unfortunate, because this is a good bee house plan, with thick walls and roofing, a nice attic for releasing cocoons, but the assembly workmanship is terribly shoddy. I returned for a refund.

Pretty but not glued evenly.
Looks nice although craftsmanship is a bit off. Wood doesn’t line up exactly and although product still looks nice I don’t like the sloppiness in appearance. It’s the green roof pieces that aren’t glued on evenly. Other than that it seems to be made well and is durable. I really like the shape size and color. I’m considering ordering another for our vacation place but concerned it may be uneven.All in all, it’s attractive. I may ask my son to take roof off and put it back on evenly.

Happy Bees in this little chalet
I bought this last year and filled it with cardboard tubes but only had a few fully inhabited tubes (I think I put it out too late in the season). This year the bees are very enthusiastic about it! I put a small bundle of reeds in the "attic" and they're all filled up and mudded over now. This is a nicely made, attractive bee house and I like being able to choose the nesting tubes for it. Will definitely purchase another one.

Poorly Constructed & Over-priced
This Welliver Outdoor Mason Bee House is very disappointing. It has shoddy construction that looks as if it was built by a 1st grade student. All the screws are exposed and will rust with weather. It is well over-priced at $60. It is not even worth $20. It is a joke. I am returning it for a refund. It is not recommended. Don't waste your money on this one.
