It doesn’t clump urine. It’s strange but it just doesn’t clump at all and I’m dealing w a female cat that is temperamental w the box so this is just bad timing. But it does keep the odor down tho! I’m very surprised at that. Am I supposed to mix this w regular litter? I’m switching back to clay litter because this doesn’t clump at all. That can’t begood for the cats health.

This product is not for use with automatic litter boxes, as some had stated in their reviews. It is not a crystal litter product, but instead a clay-based litter with some small crystals mixed into it. It does not control odor or absorb urine effectively and does not clump like a regular scooping litter does either. I would not recommend this product for someone with a regular litter box either.

I ordered this thinking it would be a white and blue crystal litter. Not quite. It's something called zeolite, a "mineral crystal." It looks like a light gray clay litter, but once the urine has dried, the litter does not clump like clay; it gets "sandy" again. It is mixed thoroughly with blue color crystals. The product says the zeolite absorbs wetness and ammonia odor, while the blue color crystals block odor from solid waste. The product works very well in controlling odor. It is a terrific value at $9.98 for 24 lbs. The shipping cost of $20.28 is extremely high, but the total cost of $30.26 is still significantly less than the cost of all the other crystal litters when the price of shipping is added to those products. I do wish Amazon would make Kitty Crystals Premium Cat Litter available through Amazon Prime. Some other litters costing the same low amount for approximately the same weight are indeed available through Amazon Prime, so why not this one? With a multi-cat household, I've converted to this product due to its odor control and lower price per pound.

thought this was pure xeolite butits full of blue crystals that look toxic and feel toxic There is no material safety data for this and i want to ask how dangerous is this Can it be used for dogs as well> what the hell are the blue crystals I need a name to check toxicity. It was sent priority mail for $12.95 and I paid much more of shipping (not fair )

And I've tried them all, from Tidy Cats to EverClean. There's no odor in the laundry room anymore, and it clumps really well. I found it in my local grocery store and since I needed litter and the price was way lower than the other brands, I thought I'd give it a try. I'm very happy that I did. I'll be getting this litter as long as I have a cat, and as long as they make it.
