Delicious, tender and full of flavour!
Huzzah! They finally had this in stock when I ordered! Woohoo!I don't often eat red meat, as it's expensive and cattle farming isn't the best animal welfare, or environmental wise. So when I do partake, I try to ensure that I'm getting it from a reputable source, where the animals are treated well, killed humanely and the meat is healthy and nutritious. That's where highland venison comes into its own.I do love a juicy steak as a rare treat, venison is definitely my favourite, followed by Aberdeen Angus, there's a distinct difference in the texture & flavour of these meats, compared with general beef, which I prefer. Heck, if I was able bodied and had access to wild game, I'd "source my own meat" - though as I'm housebound disabled, I'll just stick to what i can get online, that's affordable. Each pack comes with two, chunky, generous peices of steak, sometimes a peice is too large for a single portion, so I'll halve it - perfect as I can only manage small meals. The meat is very tender, juicy, flavoursome and wonderful in general. It's incredibly easy to cook a steak, I prefer mine "blue" and venison lends itself perfectly to it. I found that these steaks are butchered incredibly well, with minimal gristle, so there's hardly any waste, and the tiny bit I can't chew, is well recieved by the local fox.I thoroughly recommend Morrisons highland game venison, if it was more affordable, I'd be buying it on the regular, though I appreciate it as an occasional treat.I hope you find my review helpful and if so, please hit the "helpful" button and feel free to follow me or check out my other reviews.

Awful lot of money for tiny steak
The venison tasted lovely but very disappointed at the size. The two we had were tiny and were little bigger than a £2 coin when cooked. Despite the tast I won’t buy them again.

High quality meat
Very tasty.

Fine venison steaks.
The venison is virtually fat free, tender and full of taste. Venison is a source of minerals especially iron.
