This necklace features a dramatic black and white rectangular septarian stone, which hangs from a raw quartz nugget. The stones are wire wrapped in sterling silver, and hang from a 16 inch sterling silver satellite chain. Septarian geodes were formed on sea beds 50-70 million years ago during the Cretaceous Period and are composed of minerals such as calcite, aragonite and limestone.
