Chefwiz Non-stick Baking Mat Set, 16 1/2''x11 5/8''

There is so much I like about these mats. The first thing is cost. You get TWO mats for HALF the price of ONE Silpat mat. It is also half the cost of the professional non-stick baking mats I have bought from a restaurant store. The second is quality. I have used these several times and have not found any discernible difference between these and their more expensive counterparts. Third, these are the EXACT size and perfect match for my baker's half-sheet baking pans. I love this because the half sheets are made of double-thick aluminum which is durable and distributes heat evenly. Combined, the bottoms of my cookies do not brown and slide off the pan effortlessly. Fourth, these make cleanup easy. A baking pan of this size can be cumbersome to wash in the average kitchen-sized sink. This product solves this problem because the baking mat is super easy to clean, and I just wipe the baking pan when I am done since food does not get on it anyway. Fifth, this product solves a food safety concern I have had using aluminum. In the past when I have washed baking sheets in the dishwasher, a chemical reaction resulted which produced a metallic residue which could transfer to the food. This is no longer a concern because I have eliminated the temptation to wash the baking sheets in the dishwasher, and the pads protect the food from the pan. Lastly, I no longer feel the need to cover pans with aluminum.Given the low-cost of this product and all the benefits, I will never ever buy another non-stick cooking pan or high-priced baking mat again.

Chefwiz Non-stick Baking Mat Set, 16 1/2''x11 5/8''This is my first set of non-stick baking mats. I have been using parchment paper to bake cookies. Yes, I know they work well but I'm trying to save on money.I received these today. I remembered I had some Pecan Turtle delights cookie dough. These cookies can make a mess & stick because they have chocolate & caramel. I knew I had to try it my new baking mats tonight wirh these cookies. These sheets for perfectly on my 13"x18" cookie sheet. They can be used up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.I placed my cookies, put the timer & waited. Success!!! They got golden brown on the bottom as you will see in my pictures. Plus they just slipped off the baking mat. No sticking or burning. After I simply washed the mats in warm soapy water. It took no time at all because nothing had stuck to it.I would highly recommend this product. It is well worth the price.I don’t know about you, but I depend heavily on reviews that are posted on Amazon. My mother was a gourmet chef from Vienna, and the baking tradition has continued in my home. I used to use parchment paper to line all of my baking sheets because the non stick spray discolors my sheets after a few uses and causes a sticky area to accumulate in the corners.I was able to try these Chefwiz baking mats at a discount if I gave an honest review. And the HONEST truth is...they are wonderful!!!! I baked cookies the first day, and ham and egg pockets for brunch the next. Clean up is easy as well, and that is a time saver for me...no scrubbing the corners of cookie sheets.Nothing sticks, clean up is easy and everything browned evenly on the bottom.NO MESS. They are easy to clean, high quality, don't curl on the edges and everything baked evenly without sticking. You will never need to buy more expensive mats like Silpat for $39 when you can buy these and get the same performance! AND get two...talk about bang for your buck.

Why didn't I buy these mats sooner? One of the reasons why I hardly ever make cookies, is because of the mess that it leaves on the pan afterwards. One of my favorite things in my kitchen is my very expensive thick silver baking sheets. The problem is my husband put one in the dishwasher and that ruined it. Now when you wipe the pan aluminum comes off on the towel. This could have been avoided if I had one of these non stick baking mats, because it makes for an easy cleanup and eliminates the need to put my nice pans in the dishwasher. I love how thin they are and how easy they are to store. You can store them flat or roll them up and stick them in a small space. These came in a pack of two and fit my pans perfectly! I love that they can be in the oven up to 450 degrees. I always use aluminum foil or parchment paper every time I cook or bake in the oven because the clean up is so much easier, but these will save me so much money. I go through a lot of aluminum foil and parchment paper and now I can just use these.One of the other reasons I never make cookies is because I feel like the cookies never cook properly. These mats helped my cookies cook evenly and slide off with ease. I LOVE THESE MATS! The cleanup is a breeze. No more scraping the pans or letting them soak over night to get all the baked on cookie crumbs. These would make a great gift too! I am already thinking about who I can give them to for a wedding gift. Baking cookies with these mats made my life so much easier, and as a busy mom I need things to be easy. I think my family will be so excited that I will now be making cookies more often thanks to these awesome mats.

Got these for my mother and she loves them i would recommend these for anyone who likes an easy clean up.
