Fermented Soybean - 13oz [Pack of 1]

Google attests that these are super nutritious . They tast a bit salty and have to texture similar to not-fully-cooked fresh green peas. We enjoyed them served with white rice and a bit of meat. Its a fun new food for us!

The exact taste fermented salted soybean I need for my traditional Indonesian food Gulai tauco Padang. The shipping was quick and best quality product. I will buy again stacked it up in my pantry.

Definitely NOT natto. Terribly salty overpriced jar of beans. Does not taste like anything fermented.l

Boyfriend ordered this because he's always wanted but never had the opportunity to try natto. First sign something was wrong was when added to the cart the image changed from a jar of natto to a squeeze tube of sorts. Weird but we figured we give it a go, a fermented paste might be fun to play with. But what we received was neither of the products shown and was in fact a 33oz bottle of healthy boy brand black sweet soy sauce. Now I like sweet and salty so this sounds delicious and listings for the soy sauce are more expensive so I got a deal on it but still not what I paid for.

No where in the description or title does the product claim to be japanese natto! "fermented soybean" does not EQUAL natto. This is a salty umami topping for rice porridge or for stir fry. It is very yummy when used correctly and not being confused with natto.

Reading these other reviews I am in complete “facepalm” mode. This is NOT Japanese Nato nor does it state it is…LOL please read product description before making a purchase. This is Taiwanese fermented soybeans. It is meant to be very salty which makes it a delicious addition to congee/soups or rice porridge. You do NOT eat this alone.

This is not Natto. This is a different product. Buy Natto at a Japanese or Asian grocery. I do not know if it was the purchasers lack of knowledge or Amazon's.

No stringy substance around beans. Not fermented. Went right into the trash. This product is very good for you, real Natto that is.
