GEMYSE Men's Waterproof Ski Jacket Winter Snow Coat with Detachable Hood

Oh so warm! Living in Northern Maine, I needed something warm and durable. I’m a huge fan of the zippered hood and not the button style of other jackets I’ve worn in the past. The size I got fit me perfectly and covered me in all the areas I needed.

This is one heck of a very well made solid coat. Zippers are strong and sturdy, pockets are great esp the inside right vest mesh pouch, hold my flat water bottle perfectly when skiing. That pocket is actually quite large as well. Nice fuzzy fleece inside. Length goes just below your waist to cover your back when leaning forward on skis. Collar wraps nicely up and around the back of your neck. The sleeves even have a thinner piece of fabric that has a thumb hole to keep your sleeves down and in place, and allow your glove to come up and overlap that area, sealing you tight. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE is that it is a bit heavy, but I did not notice it when skiing. Kept me warm at 28 degrees, that was my coldest day in this coat so far. I would recommend this coat, especially at this price. This coat could easily cost $300+ if it had a name brand label in a ski shop.

I’m 5’4”, 240lbs and kind of round around the middle so I was definitely looking for a coat that was not too confining. I was looking for a new work coat for the upcoming winter and this one is exactly what I needed. It’s fairly lightweight and very warm. It’s similar to a company issued code from my job.It has an average amount of pocket space and can be paired well with a decent pair of slacks or jeans. In terms of durability for the usage I would say about half range. I wouldn’t recommend highly athletic activity, but its appropriate for a decent work/winter coat. The zipper quality is about average. I haven’t had any issues with it. It’s a decent style if you’re looking for something not flashing in functions as a decent winter coat or work jacket Typically I get a large, but with this one I got an extra large and it was exactly what I needed. Not too large, not too small with just enough room in the right places. If you’re looking for a decent work winter coat this is it. And if you’re kind of round like me in the middle, go for a size larger. My recommendation for an easier fit take some measuring tape running around your stomach and that way you’ll know how much space you need.

This is a warm jacket. I wore it all winter in New York and I always felt warm. I’m a woman and I got it even though it’s men’s because of good reviews. It’s not super cute or flattering but you will be warm. And very fair price. My only complaint is that the inside has a rip I can still wear it, but this means it doesn’t last very long.

I saw some people suggested getting one size smaller. I normally wear XL but ordered the L and it was very snug. I returned it, no problem and got the XL. Mine is solid black. I'm 6ft 1 and 240lbs. It arrived two days after I returned the smaller one! That was cool. I tried on my coat and I am really impressed. It fits me just right. The coat is warm but not suffocating and it has room for a sweater. So you don't have to have six-pack abs to wear it. Nice warm deep pockets. The fabric and zippers very sturdy and I anticipate it will last a while. Not only is this coat very comfortable, it is really nice looking. It's like the company asked me what I wanted in a coat. I mean it. I wore it again this morning with the hood in 38 degree driving rain. With just a shirt under it and the hood, I was perfectly comfortable and dry. I initially thought the hood was too big so I remove it for decent weather. In the rain it's like an umbrella in that not a drop fell on my head or face and it's warm too. This is a really good coat! You don't need anything fancier or more expensive. For the price, it's a great deal and I look good in it, that's priceless! I'm going to order another color. Well done guys. Make more stuff like this!

Got this for myself even though it's a men's jacket because I don't like how short the arms are in any women's jacket. The size is great and yes the arms are the perfect length. Very very warm jacket I live where it gets extremely cold and I have been nice and toasty in this. Zippers seems very sturdy I haven't had any issues with them. Keeps me dry in rain and snow. It's actually a nice looking jacket on have received numerous compliments on it. It's not super heavy and bulky to be carrying around but you do want to take it off before you get in the car with the heater on as you would probably get way too warm. Very pleased with this purchase it's really a great jacket that I'm confident will last a long time.

Great jacket - purchased for my son for our snow trip over Spring Break it was just perfect. He was warm and snug the entire trip, and often even a little too warm at times. He looked great in it as well. I was super pleased at it's value for the price. He hiked with snow shoes down Winter Park mountain for two hours and spent an hour snow tubing on a windy day with 20 degree temperatures and was completely warm all day. We climbed to the summit of Pike's Peak, this time the temperature were in the teens and it was so windy we could barely walk to fight the wind. He said he was never cold! I'm so glad that I purchased this jacket for him! I struggled with what to purchase because we live in Texas and I knew he'd barely wear a jacket like this again, so I really didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on an expense name-brand jacket. My son is 6'1" and weighs 150. He's very lanky and lean. I purchased a Large and it was a good size on him falling a little below his waist and providing a little extra room for him to wear his big hoodies underneath.

This is the third jacket of this brand I have purchased. At only $55, it is well worth it, and more well known brand name that sells for four times this much doesn't come close to the quality of this one. I got the peacock green one this time--such a bright, vibrant color--and it has the little things you want in a ski/winter jacket. Such as inner sleeves with thumb holes to keep the snow out, storm flap with large snaps and velcro, two interior pockets, adjustable cuffs and waist hem, plus a loop for hanging and one to corral your headphone cord. Plus, it has warm "fur" lining and it's wind and waterproof as well. Just because you have never heard of the brand, doesn't mean it's inferior, but quite the opposite!

Impermeable y calentita. Pero el tejido no me acaba de gustar. Parece plástico.
