Rubie's Costume Infant Noah Ark Lion Cub Romper

You should post the actual costume which looks like a lion on crack that decided to cut his own hair instead of this majestic lion y'all pretend to have.This costume quality is exactly what I didn't want and the reason why I shop online instead of cheap party stores which is where most likely where this is from. I expected the costume to have long hair on its mane, paws with little pink spots, Legs which should be the same size and better fabric. I could have cared less for the small rat but even that turned out different.I'd like my money back. Y'all ruined a our baby picture that we were counting on.

OK so I was very excited my sons first Halloween and decided to do costume shopping early. We decided the lion one, in hopes of taking cute pictures to integrate to his upcoming 1st birthday theme, the Lion King. So here is my reviewCONS:1. My son is 8 months I ordered a size 6-12. This fits him just fine but when closing the back part it was too tight around his neck.2. The head piece didn’t fit him. It was impossible to close it under his chin.3. The furs on the top were messy in a way difficult to fix and make it look cute. The fur just sat flat on top of the head piece.4. The fur doesn’t look like the picture at all! Asides from that it sheds so much it was all over the baby’s mouth, head and all over his under clothes when it was time to take it off.PROS:1. Costume brings a little toy rat that makes sounds when squeezing it. My baby since to like it 🤷🏽‍♀️.Based on this I’m looking to return the item and purchase another one

So it totally doesn't look like the picture … color is different, fur pattern is different, fur isn't as fluffy or long. But if you didn't spend too much on it and aren't afraid of making some changes then it's worth four stars. I spent about an hour freeing the fur from the seams and spending some time on the headpiece. I saw a review that suggested stuffing the ears so I did that and also noticed the mane could be stuffed so I did that too. The picture doesn't really capture the added volume but it really does make a drastic difference.

I read a TON of reviews before buying this, and based off the reviews I would have never gotten it, but I saw this exact costume on a friends baby and LOVED it. Despite the fact that it doesn't look exactly like the picture, it is still pretty stinking cute! I did comb and tease the mane hair and it did shed, but it wasn't crazy bad. Everyone that sees our 15 month old son in this stops to compliment! And my son LOVES it, he even roars when he looks in the mirror! He knows he is cute!! To give a better idea of what you are getting I am posting a picture of my son on the left and the picture of this costume on the right. It is a little big for him so I will have to pin up the legs a little so his feet stay in the paws when he walks. But I think that is because we got the "toddler" size. He is only 15 months, but very tall for his age. Everywhere else it fits perfectly.

WORST PURCHASE EVER!! IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD! I WAS SOOOO EXCITED WHEN I FINALLY FOUND THE "CUTEST LION EVER" ! UHHH YEAH... NO! FIRST: THE COLOR WAS NOWHERE NEAR WHAT THEY ARE ADVERTISING, THE LION "HAIR" ,,, LETS JUST SAY I WAS PISSED!! HAIR WAS ALL MATTED/SEWED DOWN INTO THE CAP PART, AND IT WAS SO SHORT, I HAD TO COMB IT OUT NOT TO MENTION HALF OF THE MANE COME OUT, I MEAN I GET THAT IT WAS $20 BUT DO NOT ADVERTISE FALSE PRODUCT PICTURES WHEN THE COSTUME IS INCOMPARABLE TO THE PICTURE ADVERTISED! I AM SENDING PRODUCT BACK FOR $$ RETURN. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED.

I should have read the customer reviews better and looked at the pictures closer. The product is NOTHING like the advertising image. I didn’t expect perfection, but I did expect something more than what I got.The fabric sheds a lot. The tail is a nubbin with a matted tuft at the end. The mane is a nightmare. It’s awful. Short, doesn’t go all the way around. The ears are almost non existent.I would say this is definitely false advertising.I’ll be doing some work on it since I’m already into it for over $30.

This being our first child I still don't quite know what to expect when ordering certain items for our son. Halloween costumes apparently is one of them. He's not quite 12 months yet (four days away at the time of writing this) and we got the 12-18mo size which fit pretty perfectly. Overall the costume generally matched the description. It was a little more "orange-hued" than the item picture shows but still looked pretty cute. What got me to downgrade the rating was the shedding! This lion sheds!We took our son to my office the morning of Halloween and when I handed him off to his mother so I could put my bag down I was covered in lion mane. We didn't bother combing it out to get it super fluffy like the product image or some other customer images because I was afraid too much of the "hair" would come off. If other customers didn't have to fluff their mane out then ours must have just gotten squished in shipping. The only reason why our son tolerated the head piece at all was because it was chilly but that's not the products fault.Overall, for the price, it's a good buy. It does shed a bit but again, for the price, what more can you ask for. The product image just makes it look so cozy and pajama-like. Attached is a photo of what our little lion looked like.

I was rather disappointed when I received this costume. The "fur" falls out with the slightest tugging on the costume. The head piece is not as fluffy or as full of a mane as the photo shows. The ears were also not as pronounced. The mane on the head piece I received was about 1" long and the ears were in the same line with the mane and at the same height. They didn't flop over as they show in the photo. There were also these weird matted "knots" in the mane that couldn't be removed or brushed out. It was better to leave them in place and let the rest of the mane cover them as much as possible. I couldn't find another lion costume that I like better while out shopping so I kept this one and it served its purpose.

Really disappointed as it looks absolutely nothing like the picture - this cost £45 and is really cheap quality and a very misleading product. I need a full refund!!!!

Photoshopped ad. Its not like the picture. The fibers are falling out everywhere. Im glad i had a back up costume.

DO NOT BUY THIS! It's my sons first halloween so thought we'd go all out this year. By the time shipping was paid for it came to $50 for this. The feet are sewn on backward, the hair on the hat is all matted, and the inside is scratchy. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Only thing good was shipping was fast
