Finally an "Everything" stand!
Some serious brainpower was used in designing this little jewel! Straight out of the box it's ready to use, the only glitch was because of my nails the adjustment buttons were difficult to use (so I made my daughter do it! LOL). A small extension tab for the button would be a wonderful addition but if that is the worse thing about this I figure it's still a five star product. The fans are virtually silent and work effectively dispersing the heat from my HP Laptop. The legs are wide enough that I can comfortably sit in a recliner and use my laptop on my lap with this little helper! It's exactly like advertised and I'm truly impressed! And no, I didn't receive a discount or a free product for this review. Considering I am pretty much a perfectionist I am truly impressed by this stand.

I thought a stand would help (that's why I bought it!), but if I'd had any idea just how much it would, I would have done it sooner. It took a bit of trial and error to figure out the right settings so that I could comfortably watch videos and also use the keyboard, I seem to have found what works for me YMMV). By no stretch of the imagination would this be a "sexy breakfast in bed tray" (unless one wanted to put a cloth over it etc., but adjusted suitably it gets a hot laptop off of my lap, and even sends a bit of a breeze in it's place.

Love this thing
Love this thing. Couch desk by day, impromptu end table by night. In my household, it's nice looking enough to leave out when not entertaining. Super practical

Lightweight, versatile, and handy for lots of uses
I never considered getting a laptop stand before but when I was offered this one in return for a review, I thought I would give it a try. So far I'm pleased. It's lightweight, versatile, and handy for many uses. I tried it out with my full-size laptop, which is fairly heavy, and the stand held it securely with no bending or flexing. It's easy to adjust to many different positions and comes with a sheet that shows the many positions it can be used in.I will admit that it took a little bit of getting used to when I first started trying to adjust it. Because there are three pivot points on each side it can seem kind of unwieldy but with a little practice it becomes much easier to manage. Each pivot point has angle measurements and clicks into place so you can be sure to get both sides at the same angle without any trouble. Once the pivot points are clicked into place, they will not move unless the silver button of the pivot point is pushed in again. That feature helps eliminate the possibility of unexpected changes to the arrangement of the stand. The front edge of the stand has a lip on it so your laptop/tablet/book won't slip off. There are also two small clips that can be attached to the front lip to make it even less likely that anything will slide off the top. The extra piece for a mouse can be easily attached and removed but its usefulness is limited since it will always be at the same angle as the top of the stand. If the stand is flat the mouse "pad" would be useful but if the top of the stand is at an angle, your mouse is likely to slide off. That's not a big issue for me but it's worth knowing. Maybe future designs could allow for the mouse pad itself to be adjustable so it doesn't always have to be at the same angle as the top of the stand. The two fans mounted on the bottom of the stand are quiet and worked well when I tried them. A short USB cord comes with the stand, allowing the fan to be connected to the computer for power. An on/off switch operates both fans so it's easy to turn them on and off quickly. I like how the stand can be folded flat for storage--it doesn't have much of a footprint when it's fully folded.I will post updates if necessary but for now, I'd recommend this adjustable stand to anyone who wants to use their computer in bed or on the couch. It's also handy for reading in bed and maybe even serving breakfast in bed. :-)

Metal Laptop Stand: A First Look
Laptop stands and/or tablet stands are necessities. I have a couple for my different work areas and can tell you, if you're sitting down or reclining or need something that can hold your laptop or tablet something close to a 75-85 degree angle while it displays images, then you'll see how invaluable these things are.Of the ones I have before this one, they're all plastic and both have a portable external battery and reading light attached. This metal stand has neither. And, to be fair this stand is a bit heavy. Adding a battery would make this a second-thought kind of decision. This great thing about this stand is that is adjustable (with its three (3) pairs of hinges) to about 10 different angles. There's literally no angle that you can't make with this. The only thing that I don't like about this is the fan. And, that's not the seller's fault.I have bought laptop fans in the past. The first about 10-12 years ago and laptop fans don't work.If you need to cool down a laptop or a desktop, you need a fan that blows cool air directly into the vent of the laptop or desktop so that it can flush out the hot air produced by the processors. That's the only way. But no designer has yet to do this.Anyway, this is a great laptop or tablet stand. It's flexible and can make about a dozen different angles and has a handy remote stand, to boot.Product furnished for review by the seller.

Very Useful, Multifunctional
Highlights of my Video Review:1. This is actually a great little stand/desk for light duty.2. Portable, Folds away flat for easy storage3. Comes with a little mouse tray4. 2 light duty fans for cooling laptops5. Has many different ways you can fold it so you can adjust the height and angle6. You need to adjust each joint individually, so it takes some getting used to, but once you do, it's actually pretty cool!7. Well made. Recommended!!I received a free product in order to provide my fair and honest review. If there are any questions, please feel free to leave me comments below and I will do my best to answer them. Thank you!
